Good product
Great product overall! It arrived on time, was packaged well, and matched the description perfectly. The quality feels solid, easy to use, and works as expected. I’m very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable product.

Good product, plants love it.
I’m trying to end my love/hate relationship with rockwool. I heard good things from a friend and decided to try this coir. The bocks are very convenient but didn’t expand as much as I thought and was finer cut/grind than I expected. I use it with hydroponic drip system 75/25 with perlite. That mix has worked out very well. I had to add screens to the pump and drain because bits of coir washed out of the pots, especially at first. At this point it works fine, now that the initial washout is over and screens are in place. I probably will go with a different medium for drip systems because of the washout mess, but would happily use it other types of hydroponics or aeroponics as a starter medium. Even though some of what I wrote seems negative, any issues were a result of my lack of understanding about the product. I went in hoping for something like rockwool, but safe and compostable. Coir is not that. I will happily use it again for some applications now that I know what to expect from the coir bricks. I don’t have enough experience with coir to recommend it vs other brands of coir. All I can say is my plants are thriving.

amazing price
These coco coir bricks are amazing for repotting and seed starting. They expand so much once you add water, and the texture is perfect — light, fluffy, and holds moisture really well without getting soggy. I used them as part of my soil mix with perlite and bark, and my plants are loving it. It’s also great that it’s organic and free from chemicals. Each brick goes a long way, and the packaging was neat and compact. Great quality for the price!

DOES NOT EXPAND AS ADVERTISED!!!
DOES NOT EXPAND AS ADVERTISED.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!DOES NOT HOLD ONTO WATER!LEAKS LIKE CRAZY! DO NOT USE IN GROW BAGS! YOU'LL BE STUCK WATERING MORE OFTEN AND IF YOU USE SEAL CONTAINER, YOU'LL GET WATERLOG WITH ROOT ROT.

False Representation
The material seems decent enough, but the claim of “2.25 gallons per brick” is ridiculous. High quality bricks don’t even get more than 7 or 8 quarts. These? I added the recommended amount of water, made sure the brick was broken up, waited about an hour, and for two whole bricks, the water-logged coco barely came out to 6 quarts. Don’t waste your money.
User
Misleading on amount!
Misleading information! One brick expands to 1.5 gal, not 2.25 like the ad states. The product is nice, but I feel the company should not mislead us and put enough coco core in the packaging to make a true 2.5 amount that we are paying for.

Hydrate. great.
This works really well once you hydrate it properly. It expands a lot and holds moisture nicely, which is exactly what I was looking for. I did rinse it before using just to be safe, but overall it’s clean and easy to work with. Much less messy than traditional soil. I’d definitely use this again, especially for indoor growing setups.
User
Great
This stuff is awesome! You get so much for such a low price. I used it to plant seeds, and also put a couple bricks in my composter. Very pleased with this
User
Excellent for gardening
Great for gardening. The price is higher than regular stores I find though.

Great to grow cat grass.
Convenient growing media. It comes as described... a compressed brick, I used my hands to break off just enough for my needs and a it does expand when watered, but not as much as peat.I use it to top off soil for tropical plants and to grow cat grass. Does both well, especially for cat grass.
User
Not as advertised
Was very disappointed with this product. I barely got a gallon out of the brick of coco coir.It was suppose to expand to 2.25 gallons. I received it in Feb but just used it yesterday.bi wish I could return it but can’t return it as it’s wet and a mess.
