This has been a good read. There’s a lot of useful information.

Great book that has improved my riding tremendously. I am not a "natural' when it comes to riding, but I really want to be a great rider. Mary does a great job of explaining what the correct feeling is, and how to get it while riding. Amazing insight into what the naturals do, so that now I can ask the "naturals" what they are doing or how it feels while riding. I never would have ever figured out any of this on my own. I completely revamped usage of my body after reading this book and am planning to read second time as a refresher. This is nerdy book - difficult to read at times but totally worth it. And yes, I started making some nice things happen with my horse that I could not get a feel for previously.

A GAME CHANGER! This excellent book is very detailed and thorough, be ready to commit time and effort to changing how you ride with "body awareness" using exercises on and off the horse, but the differences this makes (though subtle) are PROFOUND. I am a trainer, and this has not only helped me, but has helped my students ride better. Your horse will thank you! :) Mary is a genius.

It's worth noting that EXACTLY THE SAME BOOK as "The New Anatomy of Rider Connection". Word for Word, chapter for chapter. One is published in the US, one in England. SO DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY BUYING THEM BOTH!!!!

I purchased the companion video Course from Mary Wanless as well. The book is a great reference for the Course.

The book for coaches of biomechanics - or for riders who are intensely driven to excel in their riding. No one does rider biomechanics better!

Still reading but any book by Mary Wanless is worth every penny!!!
