Marriages Organic Plain White Flour 1 kg (Pack of 6)

I buy this and another product from the Marriages range. I buy them in packets of 6. Granted the box is heavy when they come and its well signed to say as much. The 6 bags of flour are all packaged together so I have never had to return them or had problems with seals. I make my own bread, pastry and other flour essential foods and wanted to be sure I was buying British, local and ethical. Will continue to purchase this and other Marriages products.x

I have been buying this flour for years, and it has never disappointed. Yes it is lighter than regular flour, all bakes have turned out very well. Unlike other flours which are dense, Muffins and loaves are lighter and yummy.Highly recommended.

I don't think the flour I received was expired, the date said 2021. But my bread tasted a bit bitter and there was a strange smell like dead insects/pests. What could that be? Chemicals, pesticides? But it's supposed to be Organic. So not sure if organic flour is supposed to smell/taste like this. I contacted Marriage's, so still waiting for their reply.

Decent flour. But expensive now.Paid 9 pounds on here a few months back. Its now 14 pounds?Talk about taking advantage of people.Product is good but not that special that it costs 14 quid.

Best stress free plain baking powder & multi use flour that was ever in production & delivered straight to ones door, lasts up to six months on purchase, & great for winter months, or when stuck for stuff...

Used this in a variety of baked goods and really happy with it. This was a second purchase and quality still excellent quality. Price is excellent as well so would definitely recommend.

I’ve come to really love all the Marriages flours over the last few months - various bread flours, self raising and the plain here. Makes perfect pastry and crumble

Love the flour, only which the raising agents would be removed from an organic product.
