I have several 3D printers and I am updating one to run Klipper. This screen is a perfect size to fit into an enclosure with a Raspberry Pi 3b and mount to the printer itself for a touch screen interface.The colors and brightness are perfect and even a touch too bright if the lights are off, so make sure to use a dark theme.Installation was easy, drivers were easy to configure. Highly recommend to setup a klipper screen.

Does not work on raspberry pi 5 while following all the instructions

I removed the waiting time but overall, once I read the instructions on the vendor's website, I was up and running in less than 7 minutes. This is surprisingly "plug and play". Still, read the additional comments for the geek part about the setup.✅ In the box I found everything I needed to set up the screen in three different hardware configurations, and with the brass attachments to set it up anywhere. Wow.*** Additional Comments ***👉 I'm already starting to think about preparing a kali linux automated pentesting box with this touchscreen. My mind is racing with new ideas and possibilities!👉 There are no installation instructions provided in the box. Don't be alarmed. Waveshare's website is a geek's paradise and all the setup instructions are there and very easy to find. I like the "above and beyond" additional configuration instructions to geek-out with my PI5 and this screen. This is not mandatory, but it enhances the image, the size and the impact on the PI.Verdict: 5⭐I hope my honest, real-life review will be helpful to you. Dieses Display tut genau das, was es zu tun vorgibt. Es ist ein Touchscreen, mit guter Auflösung, einem hohen Betrachtungswinkel. Es ist unklar, ob es wirklich von allen Versionen des Raspberry Pi OS unterstützt wird und ob es für Nicht-Raspberry-Pi-Systeme kompatibel ist, aber das muss jeder selbst herausfinden. Ich denke, dass es ein sehr faires Preisschild hat und ich bin zufrieden.

Das Display für den Raspberry Pi kommt in einer kleinen aber sicheren Verpackung geliefert und beinhaltet Anschlusskabel sowie Befestigungsschrauben zum Anschluss an einen pi 4 oder älter.Ein Anschluss an einem pi 5 ist nicht möglich.Das Display lässt sich sehr leicht mit dem raspberry pi verbinden und ist mit Hilfe der Anleitung auch sehr schnell eingerichtet und einsatzbereit. Der Touch reagiert sehr gut und hat bei mir keinerlei tote Ecken oder Probleme.Der Betrachtungswinkel ist wirklich sehr gut, montiert auf meinem pi 4 mit mainsail OS für den 3D Drucker kann ich sehr schnell den aktuellen Stand meines drucks einsehen und ggf. Änderungen vornehmen und auch den Notstopp drücken.Die Helligkeit ist wirklich überraschend stark, nachts blendet das Display fast schon und tagsüber kann bei wirklich jeder Helligkeit im Raum das Display gut abgelesen werden, somit denke ich das dass Display auch für eine mobile Lösung sehr gut geeignet ist.Ich bin wirklich sehr zufrieden und finde das gerade aufgrund der einfachen Installation der Preis gerechtfertigt ist.
