Full Red Fully Prepared Pizza Sauce #10

This stuff is great. While learning to make my own dough, I wanted a sauce that was all-around tasty with straightforward ingredients. It is good enough to let me focus on the dough and not worry about the sauce (yet) as I learn the ways of the pizzaiolo. This is a yummy all-rounder and crowd-pleaser. The brand speaks for itself and the price breaks down to ~$3 per 15oz can. Just portion and freeze after opening.

Tastes great. But huge can so I freeze it in ziplock bags. Spreads easy. I quit making my own after I bought this. I make Neapolitan pizzas and NY in my Gozney Domd.

Peek into the kitchen if you can of your local mom and pop pizza shop and you find cans of this sauce stacked up. This truly will take your pizza to another level and unfortunately for the mom and pop pizza joint you may not have to come back. Not only do I use this on pizza but also for any Italian dish!

I’m extremely into making pizzas at home and always looking for ways to improve my pizzas. After doing research and finding out a lot of pizzerias use full red, I decided to give it a try. It’s a huge container and to make it last, I split it up into freezer bags in pizza size servings. I put about 3 in fridge and froze the rest. To use the frozen sauce I just placed the bags in warm bowl of water for just a few minutes to soften them. This pizza sauce is amazing! It’s fully prepared and seasoned, and ready to use. The convenience is why I went with this over the standard version pizzerias use as a base.

If you are trying to emulate a NJ/NY pie, this sauce is a great one to get. Closer than any other sauce I've made or bought. Can't wait to try their other sauces.

I've been making pizza from scratch for decades—everything from poolish starters to cold fermenting dough—and decided to try Full Red pizza sauce to see if it could elevate my pizzas. Sadly, it fell short. Compared to Don Peppino's, which I’ve used regularly for literally decades, this sauce was noticeably bland. I used it on one pizza, and it just didn’t deliver the flavor I was hoping for. I don't understand the hype. What's more, I noticed a sharp dent right on the seam on the bottom of the can. I don't know if this happened at the factory, in the warehouse, or during shipping. Whether or not some of the sauce near the seam at the bottom was affected was not worth the risk so Amazon promptly refunded and the remainder has already been discarded. Dented can seams can pose serious health problems including botulism infestation. I'm back to buying cases of Don Peppino's here on Amazon.... which is good enough to eat with a spoon right out of the can. Aside from the can issue, the sauce has a beautiful deep red color, but it's just not as good as expected... And after noticing the dent on the can seam, I was hesitant about trying any more of it.

I prefer their tomatoes to this pizza sauce. But that’s my personal preference for my pizzas.
