I purchased a renewed unit from Amazon myself and their is no outside influence on my review.I purchased a renewed unit because I saw so many negative reviews and figure someone would return a unit in good condition. So I spent 149 on it and soon got a 50 off coupon off a new 199 unit. Oh well.I am 65 years old with moderate hearing loss so take that into account. My music tastes are Rock, folk, Americana, old county Western, and a few others, rarely if ever, do I listen to rap or modern country music. When it arrived I immediately plugged it in and let it charge up. Downloaded the app and updated the firmware. The 1st listen was pretty enlightening. I was surprised at how bad the speaker sounded, so muddy very flat with the bass and mid heavily emphasized. My son listened also and agreed that it sounded bad. At this point I was going to return it, but figured I would try a few equalizer settings. This changed everything.After experimenting with the settings I discovered that this speaker sounded very good to me. The soundstage is bigger than the speaker, the sound is how I like it, and it can get loud. I am listening to Robin Trowers "fool and me" as I write this and it sounds so good to me, strong controlled bass and treble and the mids present but not overwhelming. Spatial separation is present and about what I would expect, certainly not as dramatic as some reviews suggest but there.I love the look of the speaker, so many other units look like a toy instead of a speaker. I am also happy with the battery life. Please be aware that everyone has a different idea of what sounds good, but I would recommend the motion x600 as worthy of a close look.

When I first got this speaker the equalizer app wasn’t available for my phone for about 6 mo. When it did become available, all I had to do was download it and turn it on, and it immediately connected to my speaker! That’s what I what l like! I think it’s artificial intelligence at work!

I purchased an Amazon reman and I’m glad I did. This is by far the best sounding portable Bluetooth speaker these critical ears have heard. Does an excellent job of playing Dolby Atmos music. Fantastic purchase. I have this on my desk in the office, it fills the room at a very low volume. And of course it rocks my office when needed.

I bought the Soundcore Bluetooth speaker less than a year ago, and it’s already dying. I reached out to customer service, only to find out that the warranty is just 3 months for refurbished items which is shockingly short for a product like this. Their best offer was a 20% discount on my next purchase, but I have no interest in buying another Anker Soundcore product. It’s unreliable, and the company doesn’t seem to stand behind what they sell. Very disappointed.

The speaker is really pretty good and I was impressed. It replaced my Klipsch in my home and it travels with me to the tennis court where everyone can hear it. Definitely recommend it.
