Pearhead 4-Pack Clean Touch Ink Pad Kit, Baby and Pet Pawprint Keepsake

This is my second time purchasing this product with my second newborn. It’s easy to use and does exactly what I need to. I love that It doesn’t get messy on the baby.

These are excellent. Very easy to use, absolutely no mess at all, and they come with enough to do a "test run" in case you do make a mistake! I used these on my dog to get pawprints and a nose print, and they worked perfectly. I found it was easy if I taped the paper to the ink pad, then used a sturdy surface like a book to tape the whole apparatus to so that it wouldn't slide or smudge. My dog isn't the biggest fan of things on her feet, so I'm happy this was able to be done with very quick and minimal pressure. Definitely recommend for a cheap but fun activity that will leave you with an impression of your animal (or baby)!

Easy to use, mess free. The ink fades pretty quick so you cannot get much use out of one pad, but not bad for the price.

I bought these because I was having a baby and wanted to get her footprints. The first time I tried to do it was a fail, too much ink and you couldn’t see the print very well because it was super black. The second time I did it off the same ink pad I did the first time and if it wasn’t line up perfectly then you got some print that was darker than the rest. It took me a few times to get it the way I liked it, without it being too dark or too faint. I did love that I wasn’t messy!

I wish I had purchased these under happier circumstances. But the ink pads captured my fur baby's paws beautifully. It adhered to the paper well, and I was even able to get a extra paw stamp or two from the same ink pad (Cat Paws - Smaller Space Used) Happy I have prints of my baby to keep forever now.

I actually used this to get my cats paw print tattooed! They worked wonders.

Great idea for a pet, but did not work at all for a paw print. So bummed. Just looked like a big black blob.

I purchased these specifically because they would arrive quickly, and I just hoped that they would meet my needs. I'm happy to say that they did. They were bought to get prints of our precious fur baby's paws and nose for family keepsakes since he was making his journey over the rainbow bridge. These made it pretty simple for us to get prints without making it too uncomfortable for him. In fact, I feel like I should get more so I can do this for all of our fur babies. That way we're not all upset while we're doing it. Overall, I'm very pleased with the ease of use, thickness of the cards, the size and the heaviness of the color of the ink print. These will be with us til the end.

Very hard to use for hand prints

Your mileage may vary with your child but we had a very difficult time with getting viable handprints. Footprints were relatively easy, you just have to lightly press the feet into the inkpad, too much pressure will lead to a blotchy mess.

If you wanna make prints this one is super good, definitely only big enough to do a newborns prints. I waited until 3 months to do my little ones prints and their hand and foot just barely fit but they have larger hands and feet than some 3 month old babies. (Also do the hand prints when your baby is sleeping if they like to keep their hands in fists, it will make it so much easier). I would give 5 starts but I cant because I ordered these as extra ink pads for the photo frame for the foot and hand prints (as the photo frame only comes with 1 ink pad). I bought the pearhead one so I assumed the paper in them would be the exact same size because they are both from pearhead.... but they are not... the paper in this pack is WAY smaller than the paper that comes in the photo frame.

One of the ink pads was not smooth so it created spots on the print. There are more cards than ink pads and you can't really reuse the pads without the previous print showing through. Sometimes is a better deal than buying the smaller pack but the quality control needs to be improved. Bought a 2nd set to redo but would have been nice if this extra expense wasn't necessary due to poor quality. Haven't Haven't had this issue with the smaller set.
