Paddle boarding for pleasure and ease. Get a Boost!!
Great. Did the job I bought it to do. I enjoy water sports. As the years keep ticking away I still want to be in or on the water. The paddle board is a great place to spend a couple hrs The Boost really helps Paddling into the wind or current. One can take a breather for a few minutes too. The Boost power you around. It’s really easy with the remote control on the wrist. You take a spin on it you will want it.Easy to install on the board. First take long. It does energy for 2 hs depending on current and usage.

Kool toy
Works pretty good. Not a power outboard, of course. Maybe two hours of function, or less. Not for a performance surfer, it will have some drag. A hot shot surfer shouldn't be using this anyway. I am figuring out how to carry a magnet with me, because the fin shut off while out in the water and I couldn't use it for that session

Company Customer Service not good.
Company Customer Service not good. The actual fin is fun. The fact you have to purchase adapters for paddle boards is disappointing.Major issues are the wrist control doesn’t fit adult wrists and there is not any flotation device on it. We ordered a floating wrist separate and put them on that strap. The company knows of this flaw and doesn’t care. Also the controller to turn the fin on and off is a magnet inside of the screwdriver, for an additional purchase you can have one that floats. Since we are traveling with this fin and our paddle boards we found an alternative way to turn them on. Again the companies response was don’t take it in the water. Sure however that is not practical for our use. Overall it’s a water based product that they didn’t seem to consider it would be on water.I also suggest buying the $30 leash for the fin if you are using it on a paddle board. It’s definitely disappointing for this price… great idea hopefully someone builds it better

Let us enjoy the scenery without the difficult workout.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:We have used this motor 3 times so far. AWESOME. We almost returned because of fin not fitting properly. Then had to paid $29. for new adapter for fin placement but we stuck it out and are very happy with purchase. We are older(67&75) and gives us the freedom to be on the water during wind and strong currents.

Boost fin looks good and is well built, but doesn't provide much power or usage time.
The best aspect of this product is it's design and packaging (not the box it came in, but the product itself). It's a slick, well thought out design. The build quality seems good and it feels solid. Everything is sealed and integrated. No wire connecting it to a separate battery pack. There's also an app for your phone that will tell you the battery level.Don't know if the provided screw driver needed to turn on or off the unit is a good or bad feature. It's cool and keeps openings to the water to a minimum, but what happens if you lose the screw driver? I had to spend another $40 for an adaptor for my SUP.I've used the fin on my SUP in water that was flat and with 4" waves and a current. In flat water it's ok. I can definitely paddle faster, but it's good for a leisurely ride. When I ran it in 4" waves with a current, it barely was able to keep me moving forward. The battery life is not good. Makes sense considering the limited space in the fin. It only ran for ~30 mins at 100%, again at a leisurely pace. Running the fin and paddling together makes for a good pace. In burst mode, it's good to get you going from a stop and this might be the best use for this and if you are on the water for a long time (>1 hr). You could also use it only for the return trip when you are tired or going against the current.Would I spend the ~$500 (+ $40 for the adaptor) for this power fin again? Probably not, but I'm not so unhappy with it enough to return it. Similar products are either much more expensive, or you have to buy a separate batty pack, or don't look as well built (without actually trying them out myself). This might be the Dyson of power fins. Looks good, kinda expensive, does its job ok.

Electric Boogie Board- Boost Fin
The media could not be loaded. Super Stoked! I was looking up electric boogie boards because Im getting older and broke my arm last year dirt biking and it’s messed up at the shoulder and paddling out and popping up is too brutal for me to Surf comfortably anymore. I hope the jacked up boogie board will help me get out there and start building up some strength and have some fun. I bought two different adapters.. the stick on and the soft top adapters. Because of the curve of the boogie board, it wouldn’t hold on the bottom with the glue. Luckily the soft top adapter is perfect and a quick install with just two easy holes to drill and pop it in. The adapter came with two different length of two screws. The longer screws are just right. I took the two short ones and with the boat repair glue included in the stick on adapter kit and glued them to back of the controller button then drilled two short holes in the front of the boogie board put some of the boat repair glue in the holes and push the screws in. It holds tight even with out the glue. I’m going to try it in the pool as soon as I’m sure all the glue is set then will take it to Ocean Beach San Diego and see how we can rock this thing!

Legit!
This thing works. Paddling out used to drain me big time, with boost it's way easier - now I have enough energy left to actually catch a wave afterwards LOL. I tried to get to the lineup on boost alone, without paddling myself: it works, but takes a while - so I usually use the fin and paddle simultaneously. It also helps to catch the wave, but you have to use the higher speed setting (there are two buttons, regular and high) and learn to time it correctly. It's obviously not magic - you still have to paddle hard. But the difference is significant and for me it’s a game-changer.Gotta mention that I'm new to this and use a 8ft board, not sure how this would feel on a shorty. I would certainly recommend it for anyone that's at my level.
