Is this product made by Black & Decker?

No markings to indicate Black and Decker; two lablel on bag; one is "WN4C-40E 3/8EX-043 SC" and 2nd label is "9040, 3/8 LP .043 40DL" but that label is actually laid over another label which is a warning label indicating that 1 - it is made in China, and 2 - that it is not an anti-kickback type chain so user should be more experienced. Physically same overall length but cutter teeth are about 1/16 shorter in length with slight taper or angle compared to the Oregon chain that shipped with my Black and Decker saw.

I know all about the chain, and it's waaaay better than the original one, but I'll have to do some detective work to see if the 10" B&D saw on your pole is the same as mine. I'm pretty sure I can find out. Give me a day or two and I'll contact you here again. If you message back I'll know you read this and try harder, lol. My guess? ......this chain is an exact match for yours (only better) , and this dirt cheap, fast arriving, fine quality quality chain will be the only one you buy from now on. Later gator.

what size file do I need to sharpen this chain? It was asked before but never really answered.

Good question, because this is not a standard, US chain. I have two of these chains and had to order 4.5 mm, Oregon stones, number 32628. Package says, "4.5mm and 11/64."

I just received mine today. Package says: Forester brand, #43SC-40E. It is 0.043 gauge, 40 drive links, 3/" LP pitch Pkg also says "replaces Oregon #90PX" It is NOT the reduced kickback type (wasn't supposed to be, but just clarifying). Made in China. 10" chain, file size 5/32". Hope this info helps somebody.
