These are easy & quick to apply, and have completely completely hidden the holes in my running trainers. So far there is no sign of further wearing, can't be felt while running, and from the outside of the shoes you can't tell there had been a big hole not long ago. For the quality provided, they are definitely worth the reasonable cost (much cheaper than investing in new trainers!).

I'd left it too late to get these and had already poked a hole in the toe of my lightweight Nike running shoe. The black option here succesfully repaired the damage and is virtually invisible, as well as undetectable to wear. Simple but well thought-out applicator made intallation a breeze. I wear a certain brand of Japanese trainers and within about 4 months of wearing them they develop a hole where each of my big toes are. This product has been very effective in preventing this and so greatly prolongs the life of my trainers.It's a clever design that makes correct placement of the protector inside each trainer easier and more certain. It does seem that the cost of such a product would likely be fairly low, so I would expect 2 pairs for the price of the one pair that I paid, so I have docked a star for that reason.

These do the job perfectly but I do find themExpensive! I have used them several times as I like trainers which are soft at the front and they do tend to wear over time without these.

Easy to install and will hopefully make my favourite shoes last a lot longer! The patch looks thin and feels quite durable, almost leather-like. Not too pricy so definitely worth a go for the trainers/shoes you love! (I tried getting some trainers repaired/restored but they said most aren't repairable, these patches have prevented further damage to those ones, and I've installed these on some new favourites!)

Bought theese a while ago and forgot to review. Theese are a lifesaver, honestly I have saved so much money in shoes. It's been months and there is NO HOLE FORMING IN MY SHOE!, maybe im dramatic but the absolute frustration that comes with have to repair shoes for work literally every couple of months was driving me mad, not to mention the financial aspect. These little things have fixed every one of those problems, I honestly can't praise them enough, if you get holes in your shoes where your big toe is, from the way you walk, get theese, just get them you will not regret it!

Brilliant. Does the job

I definitely recommend these for prolonging the life of expensive running shoes with weak mesh front uppers. First of all, I’ve had no issue with the slight reduction in air circulation these stick on patches naturally cause. I’ve bought this item twice for my running shoes - the first time was after I had already put holes in the toe position of my ASICS Gel Nimbus 25s after about 200 km of use. The holes have not got worse since fitting and I’ve now covered 785 km. For my second pair of ASICS Nimbus 25s I fitted these protectors from day 1 and they are have no holes even after having now covered 558 km in these running shoes. Does exactly what they advertised and for my shoes the adhesive has kept them in place without issue, even through some heavy rain, soaking my running shoes. In conclusion, they seem expensive for a couple of stickers, but I feel worth it for expensive running shoes which gain significant extra life for those people whose big toes tend to create holes in their running shoes.
