Book arrived on time and in good condition. This book was purchased more out of curiosity than anything else. Some of the herbs etc I've never heard of and would think are grown outside of the UK or have secondary names. In this case I suppose you would need to do your own research. On a practical level I can't comment as I've not implimented any of the suggestions. However, so far the book is really interesting and full of facinating information.

Absolutely loved this book .B o neill reccomend it .loads of information. Really amazing value for what your getting. Would reccomend.

Old but still useful

i am happy to finally get my hand on it. Barbara O'Neil spoke s much about the book. it is thicker than i expected. 871 pages not counting index. paperback is small and handy so can be taken around like a novel. lots of black and white pictures and illustration. considering what i paid, i think it is a BARGAIN. just flipping through i can see many homemade remedies

I heard of this book listening to a Barbara O'Neil tape on YouTube.. I have had a quick scan and there are many home remedies and also causes for and ways to treat all kinds of ailments... how kooky wahoo!!!

Was a great add to my home library.

Very good book to have on your survival shelf. I bought the “revised” addition because it was very inexpensive. One thing I noticed is his pro vaccine comments (which I’d like to see if they were in the first addition, or did the family get funds to make a new revised addition?).Other than that, and the love for soya (which was probably very good for you back in his day) the book is a wealth of information. A great buy if you can use discernment.

Find this book encouraging & so good to read , read this 30-40 yrs ago & my book fell apart & now have on Kindle…
