Low voltage shorts
Makes find low voltage shorts a dream. works just like instructions say and couldn’t be happier. Its easier when technicians can control the airhandler right from it.

Well though out tool
Locating a low voltage short is one of the service calls an HVAC technician dreads. This tool enables the technician to send power from R to the components in the system by means of supplied switches. You can energize O, W, Y, or G. The built-in circuit breaker trips if there is a short. This narrows the search to O, Y, W or G. Comes with leads and handy clips that allow you to pierce the insulation, or small magnetic ends that can be used on some tstat sub bases. Makes the dread of Locating a short a bit less dreadful! This cannot be used on a system with a communicating tstat, as far as I know.
