Ariya Cinnamon Sticks 100g

Just read about the Cassia cinnamon that is abundant in the market at cheap prices having potential health impact due to its Coumarin content. Sri Lankan Cinnamon was recommended as a healthier version incliding dubbed as Real Cinnamon! It was initially difficult for me to make sure I am buying the right kind which is authentic Sri Lankan. However, after receiving this Ariya Cinnamon sticks, it was very obvious to notice the physical difference with Cassia Cinnamon. It was easy to grind as well and the flavor of the ground powder was very different, a pleasant. I take Cinnamon Powder with Honey in the morning for Insulin Sensitivity and very happy with the first experience of using Sri Lankan Cinnamon. This product is reasonably priced as well.

I ordered these as my 9 yr old had a cold. So I made cinnamon tea for him and myself and my mom. All of us got sick after having the tea and ended up with nausea and vomiting. After closer inspection of the remaining sticks in the package, I found that they were moldy with green mold growing in some of the sticks. Now likely the 3 of us have a fungal infection. I couldn’t return these as I had opened the package so waste of money it was and also made us ill. So disappointed!
