To start with, this ice maker makes great nugget ice that is a pleasure to chew on. When compared to other ice makers I have had in the past it starts putting ice out very quickly. The rate at which ice keeps coming out is also in my opinion very good. The noise when the machine is running is quieter than my previous ice makers as well. I found the basket to be a good size to hold enough ice to suit my needs. When I take off in the morning I feel a 1-gallon insulated jug with water and ice for the day. It was enough ice to keep that cold all day even sitting in my hot car.The setup was easy. Ice output was fast and good. Cleaning was a breeze with its cleaning feature and a little bit of vinegar in the water reservoir. I was very happy with the price point for a nugget ice maker. It was no bigger than the air fryer we have and fit well on our counter. It is a solid unit.Shortly into its operating life, it developed an issue where the auger would seize up and it would make a screeching sound as if the motor was still trying to spin it but slipping. I am a service engineer for my work. I do not see a component failure as being indicative of a horrible machine and I will not go on a rant about that. It is the nature of electromechanical objects that you will get component failures. The big differentiation is how those failures are dealt with. In this case, the after-sales service team was fabulous to work with. Their responses were quick and they made a very satisfactory, if not above and beyond resolution for this issue. After all my experiences in owning this machine so far, Not only would I purchase this again knowing what I know, but it is being replaced by the same machine. I like it.

This has been running nonstop since for 5 months. No issues whatsoever. Loving that good Ice! No leakage, easy to use. Only thing that would make it better is if it was self filling

I give this one star mainly because yes it makes good ice. But I bought July 17th 2024. Used off n on till December 1st wen I was gone for work out of store till a week or so ago. March 30th. Turned back on and it stopped making ice and. Makes a horrendous noise. Only bottled water has been in this no tap water. So a waste of money. Save urself. And just pay more money for a better product. Longer warranty

Great little ice maker does not take up a lot of space on your counter it is a little noisy though not all time it just makes weird creeks and noises that makes people think there's somebody in the apartment I had bought two other ice makers before it both of them died within a very short amount of time and I was out that money this one is still kicking still going strong makes the ice quickly it's good nugget ice Make sure that you do your research on Nugget ice and bullet ice before you buy your ice maker so you get the right kind of ice it's very good deal for the price and I would recommend it to anyone

This ice maker has some good points and some bad points. The good first! I love the small, soft ice. If you love to chomp ice like I do (yes, I am anemic) then you will LOVE this ice. I can't get enough of it. This is the best ice ever. I love it in drinks and how it melts into super soft ice. I love how there is a drain plug in the bottom. You can easily drain the water and clean the water bin. This is a MUST have feature in a portable ice maker. My old one didn't have this feature and it was hard to clean. The not so good points. It is quite loud, tolerable but loud. It barely has any ice in it and it shuts off because it says "Ice Full". It falls straight down and piles up in a straight/triangular shape. It then says "Ice Full" because it doesn't spread out. I have to move the ice to the sides to keep it going. This is NOT going to provide ice for a lot of people or a party. My last ice maker had big cubes, and it produced so much ice that I could bag it up and save it. You will NOT be bagging up any ice with this ice-maker. It produces very little ice. You have to constantly stir the ice to the sides so that it will keep on producing ice and not shut off because it thinks the ice bin is full. Overall, this ice machine works for me as a party of one, as my husband doesn't use the ice. I would say that it makes awesome, soft ice. If you are looking for an ice maker to produce a lot of ice in a short amount of time, this is not the ice maker to purchase. I am happy with it as a one person, ice chomping party.

I recently got this nugget ice machine and so far, I’m impressed! It’s quiet and does exactly what it’s supposed to do—make ice. I don’t have much to compare it to, so I’m not sure how fast it should be, but it does take a while to fill a full basket. That being said, I really like it and would probably purchase it again

Works great, small ice like we like it.

This ice maker makes ice relatively fast, but has a smaller container for the ice so it stacks up quickly and will stop producing ice until that ice is used or moved. It is NOISY. It is much loader than our older unit, but is 100% easier to clean as I can run brushes down the tubes where I couldn't with our other unit. You can tell when you need to clean your machine when the ice tastes "musty", which is usually once a week. We never had musty ice with our other unit, but this one gets musty tasting after it is used for about a week. It doesn't matter if we use soapy water or professional ice machine cleaner.The ice tastes great until about day 5-6. The manual does state in needs to be cleaned daily in order to keep the ice tasting great so it must be just how this system is designed creates more mold/bacteria and we live in a dry state.Overall for the price it is a great little unit. It will fit under the upper cupboards on the countertop and in smaller spaces where our other unit would not fit.
