These are very good quality. I used them to replace worn out gas lifts on our trash chute doors. They installed easily. So far I installed them on one door and is working very well. I will order 6 more.

Works as advertised

We just installed this closure and so far it works well. Some of the other brands we have tried were too still making the trash chute doors difficult for our older residents to open. This one was a good compromise between ease of opening and positive closure.
