This book lead me to Dr Eugene Lipov. I could not be more grateful for the information that is shared in this informative heartfelt book. Dr. Lipov is brilliant and truly cares about the work he does, providing relief to brains injured through traumatic stress and traumatic brain injuries.Well written and easy to follow. I’m very grateful for the fabulous collaboration that brought this book into my path.I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in helping themselves or someone else with PTSD/PTSI or traumatic brain injuries. The information in this book helped me understand the Injury to the body when experiencing PTS symptoms.I audio booked it twice and now I have purchased the paperback.I have had this treatment and the impact on my life has been amazing!I hope anyone who has LOST HOPE and feels stuck in the “darkness”, try this book to find answers.

Loved the book. Tragedy to triumph and beyond

I stumbled onto this book while researching ketamine therapy. The stories and results of the treatment for PTSD by a pain blocker injected at very specific points sounds like magic, which why so many stories about people undergoing treatment with remarkable results are included. PTSD or PTSI ( "I" for injury rather than disorder) can happen to ANYONE, to different degrees to be certain, but it is not a condition reserved for military and first responders.
