Triple bill of supernatural suspense horrors directed by James Wan and Leigh Whannell. In 'Insidious' (2010), Josh (Patrick Wilson) and Renai (Rose Byrne) move with their three children to a beautiful new family home. But their happy, carefree existence soon spirals into unmitigated terror when their son Dalton (Ty Simpkins) is knocked unconscious and falls into a coma, triggering a series of increasingly disturbing and gruesome occurrences. 'Insidious - Chapter 2' (2013) picks up from where the last film left off when the Lamberts have moved into a new home with their son Dalton and initially things are going well, but as the time passes it is revealed to them that whatever force was haunting them before still isn't finished with them. They are then tasked with uncovering what it is that ties them to the spirit world while desperately trying to hold on to their sanity. In the prequel 'Insidious - Chapter 3' (2015), set prior to the haunting of the Lambert family, 15-year-old Quinn Brenner (Stefanie Scott) seeks out noted psychic Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye) to help her connect with the spirit of her dead mother Lillith (Ele Keats), who she believes has been trying to contact her. But with Elise's help, Quinn discovers it wasn't her mother trying to contact her but a malevolent supernatural entity seeking to possess her and in her attempts at contact it may not be the only spirit she has awakened...

Love these movies
All are enjoyable and clever and quite creepy with good story lines. I've watched each one several times, and every time I do, I like a different one the best. If you like horror with good stories and high stakes (as opposed to slasher movies), you'll enjoy these.

Insidiously good!
Loved watching these movies and it's a great deal on the full trilogy....slightly disappointed that the 3rd one was a prequel to the other 2, but you can't have everything in life.Nice original story and quite spooky movies, especially the first 2.
