CLEAN INGREDIENTS - GREAT BODY SOAP
I love this soap! My skin has not been as dry. I feel like it's antimicrobial properties help me stay clean longer. I love that it is only olive and laurel oil - it's fragrance is just natural clean. I've reordered already and am going to give this as gifts. What a gift to have a long lasting soap that doesn't have a zillion un-pronounceable ingredients. It lasts long too! it is a great value

Best soap in the world ( signed: your soapmaker)
Aleppo Soap – The Best Soap in the WorldAs a natural soap maker, I’ve worked with countless ingredients and crafted many blends, but I can say without hesitation: Aleppo soap is the best soap in the world. That’s why I carry it alongside my own creations—because some traditions are simply too perfect to improve upon.I first discovered Aleppo soap while traveling through Kraków, Poland, where I stumbled into a small apothecary filled with old-world treasures. Among them was this simple, olive-and-laurel bar that has been made the same way for centuries. From the first use, I knew it was something extraordinary.I have been buying this soap from this seller for years, and I can confidently say—it is the true Aleppo soap. Pure, authentic, and unchanged, just as it has been for generations. What makes it remarkable is its purity and gentleness. This soap is so delicate it can be used even on babies’ skin. In fact, for my customers who are new moms, Aleppo soap is the only soap I recommend. It’s timeless, natural, and trusted—everything a bar of soap should be.If you’ve never tried Aleppo soap, you’re not just washing—you’re experiencing history, tradition, and care in its purest form.

Best soap I've ever used. Never going back to other stuff.
This stuff is amazing! I've been looking for something natural and came across these types of plain oil/lye soaps. It has a very strong scent that I think is really good. It's a sort of a woody, herbaceous natural scent. I use it when showering as body wash and face wash. It leaves the skin squeaky clean, moisturized, and feeling wonderful. It's hard to describe how much better it is than standard modern soaps that leave skin dry and itchy. I've been using it for a few weeks and think it'll probably last a long time because it only takes a tiny bit each use, it's strong. Additionally, the one I was sent had a sticker on it noting it was a special batch with 30% laurel oil, very much appreciated.Edit note:If you have hard water, it'll eventually get your hair waxy when used as shampoo. I recommend not using it as shampoo if you have hard water.

Not like any soap I've ever used, in the USA. Strong smell which grows on you.
The price seemed a little high, but I wanted to try handmade soap of the type the Romans probably made, and this seems like the right stuff, to me. The scent it gives to whatever's washed can be distracting at first, but I really like it. It has grown on me. It does seem to clean better, in the same water, than as my Castille soap. It seems as thorough at removing oil from hair as a detergent, which is impressive. I would buy it again. If there is any downside it's that I'm used to a harder soap, and hardness usually correlates to how long a soap is going to last, where as this is a softer soap. On the other hand, the bars are so large you probably won't notice them shrinking quickly. I say give it a try.

Good, natural quality, strange scent.
These are a masculine scented soap, similar to sandalwood, maybe a bit of tobacco smell.I got it for its natural composition, and the fact that I have sensitive skin. I also understood that it’s very good at eliminating body odor, which I can attest is true, as I use this soap with crystal allum salt deodorant and have had no odor issues.I do end up only using it on odor producing parts of my body, and then wash the rest of my body with a more feminine scented soap, as I just am not a huge fan of smelling like sandalwood and tobacco.A great product, I would just wish that the scent was more friendly to women like myself!

One of the best soaps
Aleppo soap is one of my favorites and this is an excellent brand. Cured well with a nice golden crust and a strong green center, very moisturizing. Highly recommend.

Earthy smell (not a bad one though)
Needed a soap that wouldn't irritate my skin or had a lot of chemicals in it. This was the perfect soap. Great lather! There is a slight smell but it smells like earth; like a nice, green park on a spring day or sometimes like olive oil. But it makes my skin feel soft, doesn't dry it out and I like that it's all natural.

Well aged soaps with 3 simple ingredients
As a person who makes natural soaps and been to laurel soap factories in Aleppo, I can assure you those are genuine high quality soaps, to let you know that there are two types of Aleppo soap, cheap , that comes without laurel oil and the other type with laurel oil comes with different percentages of laurel in it(10%,20%,30% and 40% laurel) the 40% is the finest soap available in Aleppo, you need to understand the marking(the stamp) on the soap in order to know what type of soap you are using. The soap is green when it’s young and color will turn to light brown with age will, the green color will shrink to the middle inside the soap and you’ll see it after many uses. Those soaps are well aged which is a good thing.BEWARE! THEY ARE SOMETIMES SELLING CHEAP ALEEPO SOAP WITH LOW OR NO LAUREL OIL IN IT.
