Exhaust Muffler System Cat-Back,Dual Walled Tip 2007-2017 Wrangler JK Exhaust Muffler Kit,Black

This was exactly what I was looking for. An axle back exhaust system that didn't cost $500+ It appears to be a chambered style muffler comparable to Flowmaster or Borla, etc. The fit was perfect. The hangers slid right into the factory positions. There is no drone at highway speeds. It has a nice deep tone at start up and idle and a nice tone around 3-4k rpms. In my opinion I think this is the deepest tone you can achieve out of a V6 for the money. I tried two other systems before this one and wasn't satisfied. I've included a video and pictures of the install. Video is cold start with idle down.

My Jeep OEM muffler was mutilated by a rock. After cutting the muffler off and driving around with out one. The sound was cool going through tunnels but not for cruising on roads. Installed this muffler as the replacement and did need to get aftermarket hangers that are 1.5/2 inches longer in order so the exhaust tips don't touch the rear bumper. Installation was simple and took about 10 minutes being solo. The sound is perfect for my taste after getting use to not having a muffler for a period of time.

Good fit. Easy to install. Hard part was taking old one off. Nice rumble. Neighbors won't like it. Lol. Was missing clamp. But only cost $5.

Replaces stock muffler. Takes up less space. Looks great and sounds good too. Slightly louder than stock with a deeper rumble.

Cheap! Rusted in less than 3 months.

The exhaust tips were scratched out the box. Noticed they did feel like they were restricting the engine (had stock intake) but when I installed cold air intake. It opened up the engine much better. Settle deep sound that does not annoy or resonate inside my jeep. And you won’t notice it on the highway which is the desired affect Installation was straight forward. You will need to replace the stock rubber hangers for a longer ones, you will end up with the exhaust tips touching the frame if you do go with OE. Three stars for poor packaging from the manufacturer

The muffler is alright, it looks very well built. The mechanics were also very impressed with it. It is NOT LOUD AT ALL. This is quite tame, I actually wanted it to be louder. I think my partner won't even notice the difference. The only reason I am giving it 3 starts is because of the poor packaging. The thing came in a package that was pretty much wide open. And because of the poor packaging, the hangers were dented, so the mechanic had to work it out to make it fit.

Way too loud and has since been removed after its professional installation.

Came with a couple scratches and no clip to put it on the jeep but sounds good and it fits perfectly in place on my 2011 jeep wrangler
