Vitamatic Lactobacillus Reuteri Complex – 22 Billion CFU per Delayed Release Capsule – 60 Capsules – Digestive & Gut Health Support – with Prebiotic Inulin Fiber

I bought these to take during the end of my pregnancy to balance my body's flora.I took them for about 7 weeks and didn't have any negative side effects. They seemed to address the imbalance I was experiencing and I was happy with them.Capsule size was not too big, easy to swallow even with a pregnancy related sensitive gag reflex.

I have taken probiotics off and on over the years. I became excited about research about l. rhamnosus and l. reuteri both having pretty profound effects on mood. I have seperately purchased probiotic formulas intended to improve mood. The cost-effectiveness of these is quite drastic compared with these other 'expensive' mood ones. I contacted them for numbers to make sure it wasnt like 90% acidophilus, and its 8billion of each. The rhamnosus alone is worth the price at this dosage.If you want to make them work 5x as well, and this goes for all probiotics capsules, by empty delayed release veggie caps to put these in. These are size 1, so if you get size 0 they fit perfectly. I even do 00 so mine are triple encaspulated. This ensures delivery of all of the organisms live. Todays 'acid resistant capsules' arent dependable enough for getting through to the colon(at least not 1 layer thick).

This probiotic was the strain I needed. I have never used this brand in the past. Seems to work well, as far as I can tell.

Great probiotic for stomach health. I have tried all kinds of probiotics to help heal my stomach, but nothing has been better than this strain. I did do a lot of research on it beforehand, so I knew when I purchased it that it would directly work to heal what I needed it to heal.It's still a work in progress, but what helps to make it work best is taking it daily at the same time. Consistency with taking a probiotic each time at the same time is what brings the best results.

have made about half a dozen single batches of dr. davis yogurt using these caps...works great either directly with 1-2 caps/large bowl (in the ultimate yogurt maker) or using the resulting yogurt and/or whey as starter in the next batch.there are 3 different probiotic strains in this complex, and it would be helpful to see on the label the CFU count for each of the strains to know how close the reuteri strain will get to the dr. davis target count. i'm going to try next a straight reuteri cap and see how that goes.

Works well in the yogurt we make. 2 caps to a quart of half and half. Put into yogurt jars and leave cooking at 101 degrees for 36 hours. Very good for your gut health.
