This is used with the Neewer cage so don't miss that but it's worth getting! They've got a lot of great lenses! This one is a super solid macro lens! Very little vignette, gets up nice and close without making you touch the thing you're taking pics of and it's a nice small size! Very easy to use and takes great pics when paired with my S24U!

First impressions Attaches easily to the lower lens of the IPhone 12 Pro Max’ three lens setup. Needs an iPhone case with a 17mm mount to hold it in place. Comes with a nice zippered storage case, lens cloth, and USB charging cable. Since it is fixed focus, you need to get right on top of whatever you are photographing and the iPhone lens zoom setting that it works with has an effective range of 1x to 2.4x. Going beyond 2.4 or less than 1x triggers the use of the iPhone’s other lenses and does not work with the Neweer lens’ position over lens number two. It should work fairly well on micro mineral specimens that have been trimmed down to a relatively flat surface area—it will not focus down into vugs however and the interaction between it and the iPhones focusing lag takes some getting used to. The built in light ring has two illuminating settings and works well. It was on sale over the holidays for under $35. A bargain for exploring the often unseen feature of your micro minerals! especially if you cannot yet afford a digital or binocular/trinocular microscope

Really pleased presently. Just got it, love the fact that it'll fit any 17mm screw threaded mount. Makes it very modular and usable on any phone. Some brands including this one sell phone cases instead of mounts only for a handful of phones. So then if you change phone that case is useless. Also, if you damage them you have to buy another case again. So buy this small nice lens and a separate 17mm mount for any phone you have. The application in my case was taking slight close ups in a silent setting (classical concert) where a DSLR's shutter noises are frowned upon and one can risk ejection.

No matter what you try and do, you cannot get a clean focus with this lens. It is blurry every single time even if you use a different app for taking pictures the iPhone refuses to work well with this lens absolutely positively you will never get a clear picture with this lens it is a waste of time it is clearer picture if you just use digital zoom past 5X - I uploaded a photo of Standard 5X photo and then one with this lens and you can see the lens completely destroys the image

I’ve been having a lot of fun with the Neewer LS-32 so far! It’s a cool little tool and has been surprisingly easy to use right out of the box. I haven’t fully mastered it yet, but that’s part of the fun—I’m still learning and experimenting with it. The magnification is impressive for something this compact, and the built-in light really helps bring out details. I can see a lot of creative possibilities with this, and I’m excited to keep exploring what it can do. Definitely worth picking up if you’re curious about the microscopic world!

Me llegó justo a tiempo, pero al probarlo me di cuenta que tiene una imperfección interna del lente (quizas defecto de fabrica) le entro un filamento de algo (pelo) al momento de ensamblar el lente ya que he tratado de limpiarlo con el paño de tela y con una pera sopladora y continua fijo, generándome desenfoque en la cámara.

I purchased this Neewer 45X lens to use with the NEEWER Pixel 8 Pro Phone Cage which provides a number of plates that push into the cage over the Pixel 8 Pro camera lenses. This allows the use of various lenses specifically designed for cell phone camera lens enhancement. The Neewer 45X lens has 17mm threads that can use the spot over the primary 50MP lens on the Pixel 8 Pro. I like the macro lens on the Pixel 8 Pro, but it cannot provide microscopic imagery like this Neewer lens. And be aware that the Neewer is definitely not a macro lens, you have to put the lens right on top of whatever you are photographing. Light is provided by a high or low setting ring light around the lens itself. Charging is USB-C. I think it takes fantastic photographs, and when you start looking for things to take pictures of it is always amazing what you can see in common items. For me, I started taking photos of clothing and carpet fibers and fabrics. I love this lens. It provides a whole new way to use my cell phone camera.

I thoroughly have enjoyed using this lens in combination with my Neewer iPhone cage which I had bought earlier for video work. Love the bokeh swirling like colorful arts. It has limit used so look into that. I understand another company is selling a similar lens for twice the price. It does make me wonder how much different in quality as this lens packs such a nice punch already. It does its job beautifully, and and so I don’t need to pixel peep. I don’t see color fringing or distortions.
