These have a more numbing spicy taste, with a slighty fermented, slightly fishy, and sweet flavor. The texture is exactly what you'd imagine, it's like a lovely chewy, dense, and bready sponge texture. The smell can be overwhelming once you open a package, but the packages contain only a few bite sized pieces so you don't have to keep them around for very long. The price is alright for these if you're just looking to try a variety of flavors and styles.

If you know what they are, this is a great purchase
If you are not familiar with this particular type of Chinese spicy bean curd snack, they may taste a bit strange for you. I love them! Not to mention they all came in a super cute gift box! For me, I would order again.
