The putty has a nice consistency and changes color with heat, although getting it back to the base color is kinda hard (although you can always put it in the fridge to change it back). This is probably one of the best versions of Crazy Aaron's putty.

My tweens love this putty. I love that it does not stick on my household surfaces. They love that it changes color and smells good.

I wish there were 10 stars i could give for this product! Has the feel (not the smell) of silly putty! I purchased it for my 2.5 year old (who loves textures), but I'm keeping it! I couldn't put it down! Great for stress, hand strengthening, creativity (changing colors the more you work with it). Doesn't make pics come off of newspapers (like the silly putty)...., yes...I tried! Iykyk! Going to have to buy more.....seriously!

I've never used a putty before, aside from Silly Putty when I was a kid and remember really enjoying it. The Crazy Aaron's "Goodnight Cactus" putty is so fun. I just got it today and I've been thoroughly enjoying it the past 30 min. The color changes quickly, but I cannot seem to get it to the yellow color. Unsure how hot it needs to be to turn yellow. Maybe I'll play with it over my fireplace to find out. The container, as many have said with this brand, is very difficult to open. I had to use the tip of a steak knife to gently pry it open. Took about 5 minutes of consistent prying to get it open. I bought 2 other versions of Crazy Aaron's putty so I am going to let them sit right side up for a day to see if the putty settling off the top and into the base will help the opening process. You can see 3 different clusters in one of the photos, the purple is untouched, the larger pink was me kneading it for about 10min (I have colder hands than most people and live in MN where it's 10°F right now, so it'll probably take less time for others). And the third, smallest cluster is one I've been aggressively kneading, pulling, stretching, rolling, and blowing with hot hair for 20 minutes to see if I can get it to turn yellow. As with anything tacky that's for play (to prolong the life of the putty) I recommend washing your hands or using hand sanitizer first so you don't add dust or oils to the putty, and don't let it get into your hair or fabrics (i.e. couch, carpet, bedding, etc). The consistency is good, not too tacky or sticky, and does not seem to be the type of putty that would dry out with use or dry out quickly. Overall, this is a great fidget tool and I'll probably order some for my practice! 4 stars instead of 5 due to the opening difficulties and the color not being able to change to yellow with normal/heavy use.

My sister loves this. It starts off as one color and then slowly transitions to the other color with the heat from your hand. Stays fairly clean, easy to keep in one place.

Crazy Aaron’s putty is my kids’ favorite. We couldn’t resist getting this one with the cool colors.

Every Christmas, my kids get Crazy Aaron’s thinking putty in their stocking so this purchase was one of over 20- we are repeat customers, and we will continue to be. These kind of toys really encourage STEM and imagination play.

We can’t get the container open! It would have been cool otherwise. My partner, my 16 year old and I have all tried. We tried putting it under water, hot water, cold water. I put it in the freezer, I warmed it up in my hands. Banged it on the side of the counter, etc. The lid will NOT come off.

It’s hands down one of my favourite putty’s, it’s so relaxing it doesn’t leave any residue on your hands, and it doesn’t mix with water so to watch it change fast just put it in a glass of ice water
