These lockable scepter water container holders worked great.... Easy to assemble. My recommendation is add several additional coats of paint to them and add some grease or antisieze to bolts too. Also when building be sure your orientation on the upper ring is correct otherwise it won't be able to close and be lockable.... They are a tight fit on the water can so get them frames installed where you are putting them and you'll have better leverage to open and close them..pretty tight on hasp portion.. Way simpler to open/close when the frames are mounted....

Easy to put together. Sturdy. Can use a padlock to secure the container. Only issue is that even if you use a padlock to lock this holder. The holder can be taken apart with a simple screwdriver. I replaced mine with security bolts. Yes, anyone can get security bits from a local hardware store, but I'm not going to make things easy.

I was not sure about this but it fit great and very easy to install. the space at the bottom make it easy to mount even with the water container inside. This fits snug with the Specter Water jug. It may not work with other Jugs.

I have 2 Spectre jerry cans. This model doesn't fit Spectre cans. It does state, in very small print, that this model is not compatible with Spectre cans, right next to the large photograph of it housing a Spectre jerry can. I gave 1 star because it isn't what I needed, and thus has no value to me. I would have ordered differently had the advertisement been more clear

Fitted it to my jeep And it works like a charm! I used them to mount both a new and old Jerry can. Works perfect on the new one, but the older one only works if you cut off the arms around the lid. Super easy fix, a cutting disc will take them off in 30 seconds.

This container holder is really, really nice. You will need to assemble it, but that is not a problem (even though no instructions are provided, just look at the product page phots for correct orientation of the parts). Takes about 10 minutes (going slowly).Every bit as nice as the Smittybilt gas can holders I have (in fact, better in every respect). Fits the Scepter water jug perfectly.And at roughly $41 it's a good buy. In fact, I've already bought four!My only complaint is that the bolts should come with thread locker (i.e., Loc-Tite) already applied. Otherwise, the holders could vibrate loose/apart). So I added my own blue.4.9 stars (due to the lack of thread locker) rounded up to...5 stars
