Great option for trolling without a plainer.
I can’t tell how deep it dives, but it puts a nice bend in my rod. Much like I see when fishing a plainer. No fish yet, but I’ve only used it once.

Somewhere down deep behind Egg Rock (Nahant) there is a giant fish with my new lure stuck in his face and all I am left with is broken 80 lb. braid. Was excited to go fishing this morning with my new X-Rap 40 lure. Just after marking a bunch of fish on the FF my significant rod almost bent in half. That fish was a cow!!! I say 'was' as the pig broke the braid and now owns my lure. So here I am buying a couple more to go at again next week. Sure is nice to be able to cover multiple depths (20', 30', and now 40') so those fish have fewer places to hide.
