Meta Quest 3 Charging Dock

Looks good, charges efficiently. Yes it does not come with a power brick but you can still use the 18w plug provided with your meta quest 3. You can opt in for a 45w one from anker which is fairly affordable and get the max charging benefits of this as I do. The headset platform leans forward and back to accommodate for the battery head strap. Also, I did how ever have an issue with one of the remote batteries but I fixed it by pushing the reset button on the battery itself in a tiny hole similar to a cim card hole. The battery does not seem to hold charge and is an issue so I’m issuing a replacement Other than that great! Recommend. **Will update after I receive replacement**. Update: I got my replacement and everything works as it should now. No complaints. Handles the charge well and also charges my external battery. With a 3rd party elite strap *Updated photo*.

I've had this charging dock for approximately 3 weeks. Yes, it's a bit pricey, still glad I got it. It's been working fine for me. It has a low profile and sits nicely on a shelf under my TV. I saw one review that said it has no cord. It does come with a cord (which is inside a smaller box where the batteries are), but no charging block so if you're not plugging it into a USB port you will need a charging block. The Quest hand controllers need to go on the correct side of the dock (right on right and left on left) or they won't charge. If you put the controllers on the wrong sides the lights will blink from amber to green, amber to green repeatedly. There is a white protective strip covering the lights that needs to be removed. I know this sounds obvious; I only mention it because I thought I saw a review that said there are no lights & I wondered if they left the protective paper on by accident. There are 3 lights along the bottom...they are amber when charging and then turn green when the controllers and headset are charged. I don't have any problem seating the headset. Occasionally, I will place the headset and don't get it lined up correctly, but I just tip the headset forward slightly and then it always lines right up. I only have the original straps that come with the Quest so I can't say if there is a problem charging the controllers with the comfort straps on. I'm happy with it and it's been working for me without any problems.

I bought an aftermarket charging stand and it was worthless. Had to plug in my headset and auxiliary battery separately, didn't sit correctly in the charger so half the time it didn't even work, had to have special battery doors for the controllers. It was a struggle constantly to keep everything charged. This charger is a dream. I just put it on there and in an hour or less, it's fully charged, controllers and all, and ready to go. Don't waste your money on the others. Just buy this one first.

Those wanting to get the most out of their Quest 3 will get two things: a good headstrap (like the BOBOVR M3 pictured here) and this dock. It's a little finicky to get the headset to align with the pogo pins, but there's no better way to juice it up. Just be sure you have a USB C charging brick, because it doesn't come with one.

Love the product it works. Just 2 complaints.. When I put the batteries in the controllers and I put them on the charger The left controller battery seems to only charge to 90%. The other complaint I have is when the battery is in the right controller it will keep disconnecting after a while it's like the contacts aren't aligned correctly,I've tried reinserting the battery but doesn't seem to help. When I have regular batteries in I have no problems. Overall I do like the product it seems to be well built. And it does charge my Quest 3 fine. I'd say overall it's a good but just wish I could get replacement batteries maybe then it would be 100%. Have to use my regular non rechargeable batteries. This product only gets 4 Stars cause of the 2 complaints.

It's really annoying what it takes to get my meta quest to sit in this properly to charge. If you happen to use the battery pack like I do, it doesn't settle into this dock very well at all. Works fine once you get it situated ok.

It’s nice and easy to use

Bei der Bestellung dachte ich noch: "ganz schön viel Geld für ein Stück Plastik". Heute ist die Station dann angekommen und hat mich wirklich überrascht. Sie ist schwer... viel schwerer als gedacht und hat eine Haptik, die ich nur von Apple kenne. Die Station ist angenehm flach. Sie bringt eigene Akkus mit, die induktiv geladen werden. Trotz Elite Strap funktioniert die Station einwandfrei. Die Beschreibungen dass damit Probleme auftreten, finde ich übertrieben. Ich werfe ja die Brille nicht auf die Station, sondern lege sie vernünftig ab, wie man das mit so teurem Equipment auch machen sollte. Bei mir laden sowohl Brille als auch die Controller problemlos, ohne etwas unter zu legen. Ich würde die Ladestation jederzeit wieder kaufen und finde, sie ist dank des induktiven Ladens eine echte Bereicherung. Das war auch schon bei der Meta Quest 2 so, nur musste ich da noch über einen Magnet USB C meine Brille laden und hatte in den Controllern spezielle Schalen mit Akku, die in der Station über 3 Kontakte geladen wurden. Das fällt mit der originalen Meta Station für die Quest 3 alles weg. Es gibt nur noch 1 Kabel und das führt zur Station. Alles andere erfolgt induktiv. Mein Fazit: Auch ohne 45 Watt Netzteil funktioniert die Station mit dem bei der Brille enthaltenen Netzteil einwandfrei. Man braucht schließlich nicht innerhalb einer Stunde wieder sofort eine komplett geladene Brille... zumindest ich nicht und normal bringe ich meine Meta Quest 3 sowieso nicht ganz leer, weil mir nach einer Stunde Training mit Fit XR ohnehin die Arme beinahe abfallen. Trotz des hohen Preises gebe ich daher 5 Sterne, weil mich die Station voll und ganz überzeugt. Abgesehen davon habe ich mir den anderen Schrott angesehen, der so im Netz angeboten wird. Bevor ich mir damit meine Brille zerstöre, gebe ich lieber etwas mehr für ein vernünftiges Produkt aus.

I did a bunch of reading on docks when picking one out for my son. While there are MANY less expensive docks out there - reviews and feedback from users I knew showed you get what you pay for. My son previously had a Quest 2, and I purchased a cheaper dock for that. So many time's he'd dock his headset and it would refuse to charge. It had to be positioned 'just right'. With this unit and his Quest 3... its 'drop it in and walk away'. Definitely worth the extra price for the reliability and ease of use.

メタクエスト関係はセット販売になってないものを後から買ったり別で買ったらどうなるのかわかりづらくて困った。 充電ドックは、本体の充電スタンドとコントローラーの充電バッテリー付きの商品となる。 コントローラーのバッテリーは電池を取り出して専用バッテリーをはめ込む仕様なので、 後で購入しても全然問題なく使用できる。 ＊数百回の充電でバッテリー寿命が来るとかなんとかだが、電池の交換は別途販売しているので、2回充電ドックを買う必要はない。 本体のフェイス部にシリコンなどを取り付けている場合はちょっと調節するか外さないと充電がしづらい。 コントローラーの充電についてもちゃんとおかないと充電されないので、 どちらの充電も真ん中のランプが点灯していることを確認しておく方がよい。 これがないと使えない！というほどではないが、 あるとめちゃくちゃ便利で、ほとんど必須なんじゃないかなって思う。 使用済み電池とかも気にする必要がなくなるので。 ほんでも、充電台が1万、コントローラーのバッテリーが1万、 って考えるとちょっと高めに感じてしまう、かなぁ。
