So so
Not a bad storyline based on rent boys, good acting, but based on the true life of rent boys, I highly recommend watching the movie Sauvage.

Coming of age film
Ok with interesting sub plot however itβs plodding delivery and narrative is a bind. Took a few breaks before watching the whole film. Good performance from Harris Dickinson despite to dodgy Brooklynβs accent

Part 2?
Enjoyable. Left in the dark at end. Itβs as if the film was cut short to save money or to limit length. Needs a part 2.

Day in life
Not much happens in this movie - the trailer shows about the most exciting parts and they last less than a minute. The movie shows a day (several in fact) in life of a troubled youth who hasn't come out yet - and whether he does at the end is sort of an open question. It shows the fears and feelings and hesitation of someone with a gay secret he wants to share but backs off each time. If you like movies with not much of a story but a following over several days, this will fit your bill!

A very worthwhile LGBT film
Personally I didn't find the strange ending others have mentioned. Unlikely spoiler alert, the main character is gay. The subsequent story would be, if he accepts this or surpresses it. I think the lead actor portrays his conflict very well, and the ambiguity is evident. Certainly a good film for anyone interested in LGBT storylines.

Holy Crap - where was the ending?!
This could easily have been a 5-star review, but for the most appalling ending I've seen to a film in a long time. While the story itself isn't exactly original, the acting from the lead was excellent: not portraying a "hyper-masculine" streetwise kid as someone else suggests, but exactly capturing the balanced sense of conflict and confusion of a modern teenager, not sure where his true feelings really lie. There was practically no other character development except with the lead, but that was okay, since his story was compelling enough - at least for me.However, the complete lack of any sort of conclusion was unforgivable and really ruined the whole experience for me. Did they run out of funding?
