Review: Great book but not what I thought I was getting! - Great book. Very detailed and interesting! It covers a wide range of topics. However, this book has a particular focus on the Indian population, therefore making it much more difficult to generalise to individuals located within the United Kingdom. The desertcart page should be updated to make this much more obvious as I was not aware of this until it had arrived. Also, I would highlight that this is NOT 'basic science'. It is incredibly detailed and uses a significant amount of technical terminology which makes it much less accessible to the lay person. Review: There's nothing 'basic' about this book! - I recently bought this book and had high hopes after reading the contents. I can tell you now that I was not disappointed. It's extremely in depth and explains each subject in an informative way. There are a couple of areas I'm trying to get my head around as its full on science but this is not a negative. I can't put this book down and it's full of post it notes to highlight the masses of information relevant to my current project. I cannot rate this book enough it's one the best investments I've made.
