Viair 90088 Black Face 2" 160 PSI Illuminated Single Needle Gauge

I have a 12 volt Viair compressor and 2-gallon supply tank that were repurposed from another vehicle. I realized that the supply tank did not have a pressure gauge so ordered this one. If I recall correctly this gauge was in the $10 price range and since I am an Amazon Prime member, I got free 2-day shipping.This gauge is well made and the graduations are easy to read. The one thing I didn't realize is that this gauge is intended to be installed in the vehicle dash or in an under dash pod. In my case I just fabricated a mounting plate and made it a remote mount by adding a 12" section of tubing. Works great for me and as the caption says.... worth the money.

This gauge was exactly what I was looking for. I used it on my Harley for my air ride setup and it worked perfect. It was easy to install, blended in great and the illumination at night was perfect.

Great gauge…would’ve been a 5 star but no nuts in the package to attach the bracket. Illumination is nice but too bright, will be installing a resistor.

Needed to replace my damaged gauge and this one worked perfectly. I removed the fittings from my old gauge and slipped them onto the new one then secured it in the existing hole. Looks great, I like the colors better than my previous one. I used red loctite thread sealant on the fittings and it holds the pressure great. Gauge it lit by a small bulb that fits in the back which is included.

Bought it for the dash of my class A motorhome that is a diesel pusher with air over hydraulic brake system so I could monitor air pressure. (Since the coach isn’t a fully air controlled brake system, it isn’t required by DOT to have an air gauge. Go figure). Standard 2-1/4” mounting hole with rear exit air connection, utilizes a U bracket hold it down. My only drawback was finding the proper brass fitting for my spliced in 1/8” air line, but most most auto parts stores carry fittings for it. Gauge is back illuminated 12 VTDC incadesent bulb, it tied right in with my dash lights and dims with them. Just wish it had a silver face, otherwise it almost matches the factory gauges. Smooth needle movement, no jerking, easy to read. Gauge reads up to 140 psi, my system maxs at 118 psi. No secondary needle on face, that’s a different higher priced unit.

Good quality and value. Needed it for air compressor in truck, sits outside and works like it should.

Looks very nice operatives good. One of the rear studs pulled out of gauge when mounting to dash before gauge was even mounted tight.

Just as described works for what it is intended.

Este medidor tiene una precisión única sobre otras marcas. Desafortunadamente se me resbaló de las manos a la semana y lo descalibré, ahora siempre marca 20 psi aun sin conexiones. Lo curiosos es que usandolo de esta manera sigue manteniendo su precisión, si por ejemplo le cargo 30 psi, marca 50psi. Necesito otro ya!

Just like it says in the description. In case you thought it was an electric sensor in the pic, that's actually the light bulb for the back of the guage. You will need the nut and ferrule for the air line connection to the back.
