8K HDMI 2.1
The media could not be loaded. My ability to engage with the numerous media devices that I own has been readily revolutionized by this bi-directional 2 in 1 out HDMI switcher, which has resulted in a watching experience that is uninterrupted and immersive. The features of HDMI 2.1 assure a smooth and high-speed data transmission rate of 48 GB/s, which enables me to experience 4K material at 120 Hz and 8K content at 60 Hz without any lag or loss in clarity. This is made possible by the fact that the data transfer rate is capped at 48 GB/s.My ability to move between devices with the remote that was provided has enabled me to more easily manage my entertainment, which has resulted in a more pleasant and stress-free experience. I believe that the fact that this HDMI switch can send signals in both directions is what gives it a competitive edge. There are many different configurations for home theaters, so having the ability to swap between one display and two devices and one device and two screens provides an additional degree of versatility. The overall effectiveness of my home entertainment system is improved by the availability of a switcher that can coordinate the operation of many devices simultaneously. The remote control that is included with the switch gives me a feeling of more control over the situation. Because of the thoughtful layout and responsive buttons, I am able to browse through all of my linked devices with ease, making it simple to make adjustments to settings and switch between sources. Because of its diminutive proportions, the switch can be installed in my system without drawing undue attention to itself or occupying any extra room.

Works well - except the remote
I purchased this splitter because it could be controlled remotely. I had a question of customer service and they answered my question promptly; the switch works quite well. However, the remote that came with it is pretty much worthless unless you are within three feet of the switch. I ended up programming a universal remote and it works perfectly now.

Good HVMI Switch
I have two of them and they are fantastic, easily flip monitors between computers. I really like the fact that all the connections are in the back, making it easy to mount on my desk with all the cords hidden in the back.

Works perfectly!
I bought a different, much more expensive, switcher to hook up my Switch and PS5 to the TV that worked very poorly. Ended up not using it cause it was so terrible. Ordered this switcher, hooked it up, and it's been working seamlessly! Couldn't recommend it more!

Small and perfect
Using it to switch between 2 game consoles. It makes the switch flawlessly.

Splitter to 2 screens.
I needed a splitter from my PS5 to go to my gaming monitor and TV for movie viewing. Only 1 screen at a time wont work simultaneously. But perfect for what I needed.

Good switcher, useless remote.
I got this switcher to attach 2 devices (Fire Stick 4k and PlayStation) to my 4k monitor that only has a single HDMI Input. Works exactly as it should. Attach the 2 input devices and the monitor to the appropriately labeled port on the switcher, and that's it. Pushing the button on top of the switcher toggles between the 2 inputs. There is a small delay (less than a second) where the screen goes black while switching between inputs, but I don't considet that a big deal. I have seen no input lag/delay in audio and video while using the switcher with either of my source devices. Also, the switcher receives it's power from the HDMI devices plugged into it, so there is no need for a separate power plug/cable to operate the device.Had I gotten this device without a remote, I'd have rated it 5 stars for what it is as a switcher only.Unfortunately, I got the model with the remote and I can't stress enough how horrible it is.The remote is really cheap/flimsy. Pressing the buttons flexes the entire front of the remote inward and creates gaps in the seams because the plastic is so thin. I don't think it's going to last long. The remote has 3 buttons: 1, 2 and IR. 1 switches to Input 1, 2 to Input 2 and IR enables/disables IR input switching capabilities. Unlike the button on the switcher itself, there is no input toggle. If you are already on Input 1 and press 1, it does nothing. You have to press 2. WHY?! When you have a device that can only switch 2 inputs, why would you have buttons that require you to remember what input each of your devices is on so you can appropriately (and accurately) switch to them? Really annoying and poorly thought out. Also, when you press the IR Button to disable IR, a red ring lights up around the toggle button on the switcher. The problem there is that the input toggle button is on TOP of the device. So....when you are using the remote, which would generally only be the case if you are some distance from the switcher, you can't see the red ring since their is no indication that IR is disabled on the FACE of the switcher....which is likely to be the only thing you can see. Again, poorly thought out. All of this says nothing about the fact that I can't even understand WHY you'd want to disable the remote input switching in the first place. If they had simply made a single button remote that does nothing more than toggle inputs, it would have been so much better.I've had Ivanky cables in the past and like their products....and I do feel like the switcher itself is a quality device. But unless you have a specific need to have it, and are willing to live with the annoyances, I'd get it without the remote.
