Love these cotton cloths, easy to use and holds up well for castor oil packs. I have tried washing them both by hand and in the washer and have found that a combination of both works best for me. I hand wash them initially with dish soap to break up the thick layer of castor oil, rinse well and then throw them in the washer machine to get a more thorough clean. When I tried washing them without doing a pre-hand wash, all of my clothes came out smelling like castor oil and the cloths didn’t feel truly clean. They have survived multiple washes and have not broken down or left any stains or loose strands.

The cotton was clean, with no residue when I washed it before use. They recommended not washing it, but I did anyway, and it turned out fine. Received these quickly and they are perfect. The price was also perfect. Each piece is a double layer which is completely sewn all around with a nice finish on the edges. Each piece is also quite large so you can fold it a bit more or cut it if you like. They were enclosed in a separate reusable zipper bag with a lovely note from the seller of a small business. These are organic cotton and very soft. Prior to purchasing these I had been using wool flannel but it was just too itchy for castor oil packs.

I have been using these flannel pads daily since February, and the quality is superior! They wash very well, and are very absorbent when using as castor oil pack treatments. The seller even included instructions in the package. The size is perfect if using on your abdomen, as it covers the whole abdominal area, A must-buy item!

These are nice to use. I need to use them more then I do. Good to use to keep the oil where you want it. easy to use and very effective. Its a good quality fabric.
