Brought these because their bushing rather than bearings,I'm fed up keep re-greasing the bearings in my GX ones during wet months.I've had 2+ years from old ones so not too bad,but they'd worn out & feel rough in some gears.Anyhow the top jockey does require modifications to fit though,I have a lathe so it was easy.On my inside cage top there's a shoulder that requires a 6mm hole to be drilled,in both the outer silver cover & about 3mm inside the sleeve after which they fit over no problem.The cover was easy but sleeve is hard stainless I think,started off 5.5mm then 6mm using good sharp drills ! please bear this in mind.Modifications do not affect the mech itself & if you're not into diy,I'm sure a competent engineer wouldn't charge much for about 10 mins work.

Bought to replace standard worn cogs in a X1 11 speed mech as the correct replacements with bearings cost so much more! These ones were exactly the same size and the only difference is that they don’t have bearings and run on bushings which work just as well and won’t wear out as quick as the bearings in the more expensive ones. Perfect replacement at a good price!
