Exceeding expectations.
I bought this with no pre-conceptions of how sophisticated or franking astonishing it would be. Actually I expected it just to be a little novel and fun addition to the household., but probably exaggerated in its capabilities and a little bit naff. More comic relief or interesting man-child toy than anything else. This ‘entry level’ robotic cleaner actually does clean. My carpets have never looked so good. Or clean. I never expected this. I’m astonished and absolutely satisfied with this little product. If I had known this wasn’t just a fad and was a serious expression of progress I would have gotten one sooner. To be frank the way it moves and remembers doors, the difference between temporary and permanent pieces of furniture, borders on the uncanny. An amazing piece of technology. It’s really simple to use if you have any computer literacy. Wi-fi and smart phones are a must.

Needs WiFi, smallish bin
Purchased to replace a dead iRobot Roomba 500 series (Robbie 1). Although you can 'point and press' this one, which is what I wanted, you do still need to connect it to WiFi via an app on your phone. Bin is smaller than my old Robbie and the filter is fiddlier. However it came with a spare and the app shows lifespan of replaceable components.Seems to pick up pretty well from my short pile carpets with the rubber rollers, though long hairs wrap around the edge brush and wheels. On the downside it seems to have a blind spot about certain corners that Robbie 1 didn't skip. That moved in circles to orient itself, Robbie 2 works mostly in straight lines.

Hard working machine
Had old model but battery is going. Replaced it with this one and delighted at how long it cleans for . Doesn't have handle on top which I miss but apart from that good replacement. Love these robot hoovers.

Great Product
If you have multiple pets as I do this is a great time saver. It collects fur and any tracked litter leaving your home clean. Must have for all pet owners

Broken
Whilst I have been talking up technical support. The iRobot I bought in July is still not working and faulty. I have asked for a replacement but nobody has got back to me!

Our Roomba has only lasted less than 6 months before it died.
Our ROOMBA only lasted less than 6 months before it died. Now it doesn't want to charge itself or operate. I am going to send it back to you, as I don't believe it should only last this long. I've had Roomba's before and they have lasted years and years! Please could you repair it? We don't have small children or any pets to harm it. We don't have the original box to send it in, but we will cover it in bubble wrap.

Fab
I genuinely believe it’s great for small places as it takes my area of a small place about 40 minutes to clean. It’s not good for edges or under sofas as the one sided brush doesn’t edge the whole location effectively. Brushing the edges/under the sofa will help a lot.The suction and cleaning of carpets proved it wasn’t as clean as I previous thought it’s incredible and really worth every penny despite it’s downfalls
