B.FRIENDIT Bluetooth Aluminium Wireless Keyboard for Mac

At last I have seamed to have found a true Mac keyboard that runs rings around the Apple Mac keyboard. I read one reviewer who complained the keys were not laid out properly. Really it is a Mac keyboard designed for and only for Mac computers, thus it has all the up-to-date Mac feature buttons. Yes it is thicker than a Mac keyboard. It comes in a whopping 540g compared with the Mac keyboard at 360g. It is the steadiest keyboard I have bought from Amazon, I should know I have a draw full of rejected keyboards!. The weight of the keyboard reflects its build that is better than the Apple keyboard in quality. The extra thickness means that the keys have a more natural travel, with a soft responsive travel which for me gives a better typing experience. It performs better than the Apple keyboard, in the fact it locks onto Bluetooth better, stays locked, where Apple keyboard after a while just disconnects when typing or starts printing in jumble characters. In my case I found that the character A to be problematic and other users have had keys not working properly after 6 months. But as I said it is better than Apple keyboard because unlike apple it can be connected to three devices and you can switch between them, where Apple keyboard cannot work on multiple devices separately. Also the keys on this keyboard do not have transfer lettering, which makes it rather unique as I always thought that was an Apple exclusive idea. Then there is the price difference, Apple's touchpad keyboard costs £199 where this keyboard costs £38, who's taking the Mick here. I have already typed 9,000 words with this keyboard and it has been the best keyboard experience I have had for a long time. I am so impressed I have bought second one for my other Mac computer.

Compared to the magic keyboard this keyboard is excellent build quality, has a heavy weight, doesn’t bend like cheap a keyboard, keys feel response and quite for the price Keyboard going to sleep after 10 minutes is the only annoying feature but overall this keyboard works brilliant with an iMac, stays connected and works well over long periods Another slight annoyance is the caps key led is not on the caps lock button rather is in too small of a circle in the top right of the keyboard so when entering typing passwords its difficult to know when you’re on caps or not But for the price and build quality i’m very much happy for what it’s worth

This is a good, solidly-built mac keyboard. Easy to pair up, a nice positive feel to the keys and a single charge lasts for months. Now for the bad bits: Firstly, there is a lock key directly above the backspace and right next to the volume key, so it's too easy to keep hitting it accidentally and locking up the screen. Secondly, it powers off after a few minutes of inactivity and needs a few keystrokes to wake up again, resulting in half-typed words everywhere. This was the part I couldn't put up with so it had to go - which is a real shame.

Keyboard feels solid and key touch is good. But terrible connectivity. And it's stopped working after just a few months. And it's literally a few weeks outside of the 'return window'. Shame.

Bought this for my Mac mini M4. Easy setup and comfortable to use.

Only problem I’ve had is that my Mac doesn’t immediately recognise it from waking so you have to type a bit to ‘get it going’.
