Worked perfectly
I bought this discrete TPM because the firmware TPM (fTPM) on my computer was dropping out. I have a Gigabyte B550 motherboard and this plugged right into the TPM header, disabled the fTPM in the BIOS settings and rebooted, and the discrete TPM was active and working perfectly. Make *sure* you buy the correct one for your motherboard; some Gigabyte boards take the 14-1 and some take the 12-1 TPM modules. Check the number of pins on the header before buying! But installation couldn't be simpler.

You NEED THIS!
without this item on you MB you won't be able to run the latest Windows 11 program operating system. This item will only work on the latest MB's so be aware if you're upgrading your system mainframe, you will have to have one of these. Just upgrading your Windows 10 to Windows 11 will not work unless it has this item installed.

Can't be installed on some Gigabyte Mother Boards.
This product isn't installable on my Gigabyte mother board.The Polarising key does not match. Be careful when you order.Sadly it seems to be a non returnable item.

Works for my MB
Works Great and I can confirm 100% this TPM module will work for a Intel Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite AX motherboard. Once its installed just remmeber to turn on TPM in your bios. Need this chip to upgrade my Windows 11 as it was stuck on that last update for windows in 2021. Now have the most current version thanks to the TMP chip. Sucks Microsoft is forcing this on people, but this chip is a quick cheap fix rather than having to build a whole new rig.
