Works Pretty Well
Keep in mind it's only for AM reception, specifically for boosting reception of distant or weak signals and you shouldn't be disappointed. If you already have a strong signal, this won't help much. But it's fun to play with. Dial in a weak station on the radio, then hold this antenna close and dial it in for fine tuning. Then turn it around for the best reception. It inductively resonates with the ferrite coil antenna inside the radio. There's a cord included, I don't know why. It's a simple LC resonant tank circuit, and has a pretty design aesthetic. But remember, it's AM - don't expect Hi-fi.

Does the Job!
Even though I have a fixed MW dipole antenna on my Eton 750 Elite, it was only pulling in marginally-good MW reception. Because this unit allows for an external connection, I went with the highly-rated AN-200 Indoor Loop Antenna and was NOT disappointed. I've now added AM to my DXing routine. Thumbs-up!

Better than one might expect :-)
I used this TECSUN AN-200 loop antenna with my TECSUN PL-330 receiver.I would like to first apologize to this seller, as I voiced my frustrated and complained when the actual ship date came back stating that antenna was shipping from China - and that it would arrive over a month later than stated ETA on seller page for this product. While the antenna shipped from China, it arrived within a week and half of the ETA on the seller page.Update: The seller later notified me to share that they were out of stock in the US - and that is why my order shipped directly from ChinaNow on to the antenna review. This is a product meant for the Chinese market and as such, the documentation is in Chinese. If you have done your research on using this antenna, this should not matter as you aren't likely to read or use the manual anyway - but you should be aware of this. With my setup, the antenna seems to work best using the cable from the antenna to my PL-330 (which has an antenna jack). I am still working on evaluating the use of the "inductive linking" method with this antenna, where you don't use the cable connection and just place the antenna close to the radio. Many YouTube reviews of this antenna state that the inductive method of linking the AN-200 antenna to a radio's internal antenna works well.I live in the NY/NJ area. I didn't notice any big difference between using my internal antenna verses using the AN-200 antenna when listening to strong local stations - which at first I was disappointed about, based on what I now know to have been a nonsensical expectation on my part.Where this antenna shines brightly is pulling in WEAK stations. My home has RF interference throughout it due to dimmer switches, multiple personal computers, etc. Once I turn off my kitchen dimmer switch, the AN-200 has made a major improvement in reception of weaker AM/MW signals on my PL-330 radio. I have received evening MW/AM broadcasts from Atlanta, GA and Louisville, KTYour results like will vary, but based on my experiences thus far, I would order this antenna. It works well for me - and the seller got the antenna here in a reasonable about of time.

Useless/waste of money
I tried to use this on three different stereo receivers. It did nothing no matter the position or the knob setting. No volume at all. I bought a 7 dollar old loop style and it works perfect. Don't waste your money. You may think because it is high priced it is better. Not.

Thanks Amazon
Thank you for shipping a radio antenna just before Christmas in the flimsy product packaging by just taping it up and slapping a label on it so that it can show up practically destroyed. So, it is in no condition to be presented as a gift. (The shipping label is on the other side of the box that you see in the picture.)Now about the product itself: it has some minor surface scratches on the plastic right out of the box. They are not really noticeable unless you look closely. I was tempted to send it back for an exchange, but I don’t want to get one that is even worse. I think this item is over priced, but it does work. It works reasonably well with my Tecsun PL – 880. It does not work at all with my Sony clock radio. The quality could be better, but it really is pretty cool. The packaging is flimsy and cheap, and it does not include English instructions. The instructions are entirely in Chinese, however, I don’t think you really need instructions to figure this out. By the way, it doesn’t say it in the product description but this has the Tecsun name on it, which is what I wanted.

It works just for AM
I needed a loop antenna booster for most of my AM radios and this thing works wonders for AM radio reception notably. Easy to use, just turn the knob on the unit to "on" and place it next to your portable AM/FM radio....this device works only on AM band. Not sure about working on SW bands tho....just AM radio bands it seems it works well on. It does not take any batteries. I like to poke around some late evenings trying to find distant AM stations, especially when it's winter or colder weather....I seem to find further stations when it's winter or very cold weather outdoors. 5 stars.....it works well for my AM radios.

Very good AM loop antenna
I have this antenna hooked up through the antenna input on my Tecsun PL 990X. The selectivity is very sharp and directionality quite good. Brings in AM stations that I can not hear with the built in antenna. Well worth the money.
