Klein ToolsVDV826-702 Pass-Thru Modular Data Plug, RJ45 CAT5E, Gold Plated, Pass Through Connectors 50-Pack

If you're like me, and you're trying to save a few dollars and buy the regular terminals, don't. The pass-through ones that Klein makes are so much better. Just think of saving a few dollars versus saving an hour having to trace down and re-crimp.

I connect and crip with the Klein tool, and so long as I set up the wires correctly and hold them fast as I push through, these terminate cleanly and make a good solid connection.So far, I have made a dozen custom-length cables, and the only problems have been user-driven

The passthrough crimp is the best design. I haven't installed a lot, But more than 100 and I had no connection errors. I use the Klein passthrough crimper so that may have an effect. Don't have enough experience with other equipment to say for sure. but having no errors says enough for me.

After having cable failures using cheap connectors bought from Amazon, I bought these along with the Klein Tool. Ive had no failures since. It turns out that the alignment of the contacts is extremely critical. Ive bought several cat 5 and cat 6 packages of Klein with no failures.

I purchased these as a novice, never having put ends on a CAT cable before. I had a few issues, but they were related to my ignorance, not the effectiveness of the ends. I have learned the hard way not to try to save too much money by going for the cheapest ends on cords. These are not cheap, but they installation was very simple, and with their design, if they are installed properly, they have a nice, firm feel to them and based on their feel, I am confident they will last indefinitely. I used a Klein tool to install, and with these ends, I had no problems other than the previously-mentioned beginner's error issues.

Worth the vale no more buy cat6 cables

They work, they are made well and overall good quality. Easy to fit CAT5e. I previously purchased two packs of RJ45 passthrough from other brands/vendors here in Amazon and none of them allowed me to deliver POE over my Unifi devices (AP/Cameras). These instead work without issues. Recommended.

These are excellent. Good quality, with a really easy technique (because you push the strands through the plug, you get to ensure the order is right before you lock in the crimp).The only difference I can see between these and the Cat 6 ones from Klein is that the channel at the back of the plug where the full cable goes is shorter and thinner on these and longer and wider on the cat 6 to accommodate F/UTP style cables.
