I'm a fan of this fan
Fan 1 (Lamp fan) on my BenQ 1070+ failed. I decided to try and replace it with this one as same specs. It worked perfectly and I've been using my projector for several months with this in it. It actually pushes more air than the original fan and is quieter. Standard wire colours would have been appreciated though (wrong fitting for 1070+ so have to splice to original connector) which took a few guesses.

Far from Perfect.
Didn't quite match the holes for securing, although it says it is 70mm. Plus the plugs were too short to actually hold the fan firmly, so had to use the screws from the old fan. Good enough, but wouldn't buy again.

silence (almost)
I saw a review of this when I was researching a replacement case fan that had failed. at the cost, I thought that I could not lose. but I never expected things to be so quiet. recommended.

This fan does NOT have a 4-pin connector (but a 3-pin), and so is not PWM capable.
I was assured this was a PWM fan as it had a 4-pin connector. It is NOT a PWM fan as it only has a 3-pin connector (TX3?). The fan itself is excellent, it is just not PWM which is what I was looking for. There is a 4-pin adapter cable included with the kit, but this is a 4-pin molex connector (as was used on the old 5.25in floppy drives for example), to several confusing 3-pin and 1-pin in-line sockets. I am currently using this fan with no PWM, and it is working fine, but I have had to re-order a true PWM fan.In fairness to the vendor, this was not advertised as a PWM fan - I was given misleading information from a user.
