Yes it can. It is much more strongly flavoured than other malt vinegars, so if you are after a clear simple pickling acid you would probably be better off with something cheaper - but if you want something with strong depth of flavour then, yes, it will do the job.

Q: What is the shelf life?

Good Afternoon. Malt vinegar is a self preserving product so it’s shelf life is pretty much indefinite. Due to this there is no use by date on the product.

Q: What is the acidity is it 10%

As an artisan product the acidity varies from batch to batch - but is always between 4.5% and 5.5%.
