We bought this FoodSaver Vacuum Sealer as a Christmas gift for our son to go with his new sous vide, and he was thrilled! He immediately noticed how well it works and how easy it is to use. The automatic bag detection is convenient, and it gives a tight, reliable seal every time. The bags that come with the unit were nice and thick and ready to handle hours in a sous vide bath. We were also happy to see that it has a smaller footprint than our older FoodSaver model, which saves counter space without sacrificing performance. Overall, it’s a sleek, efficient, and high-quality upgrade. He’s been using it nonstop since the holidays!

I've had this for 4 years now and it is the most wonderful vacuum sealer I've ever had. Still works like a top. Easy to use ,fast and replacement bag roll's aren't expensive.

I been using FoodSaver Vacuum Sealer Machines for over 20 yrs. My Old machine quit 6 months ago and I bought this one. It works much better, there are improvements which means liquid will not get pulled into the pump like the old machine. This one is not near as load, has the separate seal button which is a big plus. It does everything it says it would and all that I want. Seals better than the old model. It came with the Accessory Hose but the design has changed and the new hose doesn't work with all my old attachments or devices. Also it has the it comes with a hand held sealer. It didn't have one. It would have been much nicer if they hadn't left it out of the package. So one star off for the missing sealer.

Ever. ➤ Saves Money & Reduces Waste: This is the biggest win. I can now buy meat in bulk when it's on sale, divide it into portions, and seal it without fear. That giant bag of coffee grounds? Sealed shut, it stays fragrant for weeks. That half an onion I never know what to do with? Throw it in a small bag and seal it for tomorrow's omelet. It doesn't have a million settings because it doesn't need them. It's reliable, durable, and it solves a real, everyday problem beautifully. If you're on the fence, just get it. This unassuming little machine has quietly become the most valuable player in my kitchen. It just works, and it works with ease. Five stars without a doubt.

Once again I have learned the lesson - "Less expensive doesn't always mean a deal". My previous FoodSaver after over 10 years final had to be replaced. I tried two different bands ( which shall remain nameless) thinking I'd save a few dollars. Although the results were not disastrous they were very disappointing. Not nearly as much suction power and sealing was hit or miss. The point is to have NO air in the final product right? Needless to say I am very happy with this sealer. Quick and easy - I had a "pile" of pork chops from Sam's that I had vac'd and sealed in 20 minutes. Plus is tucks away neatly n my pantry.

I had one of the same brand that was around 30 years old. The gasket finally fell apart, so I got a new one. It has upgrades and works even better than my original one. I like the option to just seal and not vacuum, too.

Makes it easy to use quickly instead of making your own bag size first. Fits almost anything I'm sealing.

Upgraded from an old version. This new one works so much better, Really sucks all the air out. Food lasts much longer.

So one other review mentioned that this "bulk" package of Foodsaver bags might come with bags that are slightly smaller than than the other "consumer" pack of Foodsaver quart bags. I ordered both and compared. See picture. This bulk set actually has bags that are in fact larger! Their construction looks slightly different (corrugation pattern is slightly different) but I can't see any functional difference. So these are amazing value.
