So I opened a fourth tub of these yesterday, only to realise they're not the traditional toffee center with thick powder coating on, type. They're the all strawberry hard chew with barely any powder on (Modern?) which is not what I wanted. Same package, and using the same repeat order so there is no way I could have known when ordering (I should have noticed when they arrived and questioned it as they are much smaller too)Not so much a negative review but more a warning if you're expecting a certain kind. It's the same lisiting, with the same tub design, but a different product. You can tell by looking at the size if you are concerned. I will be if I ever order these again. :)

Tasty mint sweets but not Everton mints which have a soft chewy middle. These are the right stripy colour but are hard all the way through - and I mean HARD! They are like a minty gobstopper but as I wanted to share my childhood memories of being given an Everton mint by my Liverpudlian parents with my grandsons I was a bit disappointed. By all means get these if you just want a minty boiled sweet - and being positive, with one of these in their mouths we might have a bit of peace and quiet for a while :)
