Lucaffe Mamma Lucia Italian espresso coffee is the most popular blend, a favorite among all coffee drinkers especially suitable for Caffe latte or Cappuccino. This blend consists of Robusta from India and Arabica from South America, which gives it a delicate taste and pleasant aroma that conjures the heat and beauty of South America and the soothing flavor of India. Lucaffe Mamma Lucia espresso is especially suitable for breakfast time, given its full-bodied taste and fair sweetness. Love it!
We buy Lavazza for our daily coffee (Crema y Aroma) and we treat ourselves to some Lucaffe now and then. This one is great value, the flavor is amazing, you’ll love it.

Too sweet for me
Not what I expected. This is very much a medium roast, sweet coffee. I was hoping for more strength to stand up well in latte but this bean is too sweet for me. You may like it for straight espresso, but I like more dark chocolate flavors.

Better than lavazza crema e gusto
This is mostly robusta so you get a really caffeinated espresso and good crema. Taste is chocolate and bready so its good for milk drinks or straight with sugar. Beans are slightly oily but work great in my baratza sette 30 grinder and gaggia classic. Better than most lavazza most similar to crema e gusto but beans were fresher.

The coffee taste as good. We use to buy the ESE pods and ...
Always tasty. Switched from ESE pods to an automatic machine. The coffee taste as good. We use to buy the ESE pods and I am glad to find the same quality in the whole beans bag.

Excellent with my automatic Saeco XSmall - If you want a more authentic Italian espresso than Lavazza, I'd recommend Lucaffe!
The best! I used to use Lucaffe pods, but I recently upgraded to a super-automatic espresso machine - I have the Saeco XSmall. My first batch of beans were Lavazza, which was pretty good, but I didn't think it was strong enough (which has always been the case in my opinion, about Lavazza beans).I was so happy to find that Lucaffe sold whole beans! I almost got the Classic blend, but then I read that the Mamma Lucia works really well with automatic espresso machines, so I gave it a try. Really great flavor - chocolaty, rich, bold, full-bodied, yet balanced with some slightly acidic brightness (not too much, though - it's very drinkable as a straight espresso shot). If you want a more authentic Italian espresso than Lavazza, I'd definitely recommend giving the Lucaffe Mamma Lucia a try!
