no more disposables, eff that noise. If ACI decides to scalp with the carbon, you can get it from aquarium stores for cheap. great build quality, these things will outlive humanity. The glue on the logo badge sucks, it melted and now it just lives in my tent for decor.

I got this refillable kit because other reviewers had said that the charcoal smells better. Plus you get a charcoal refill and scoop and funnel with it. I then mated this with the AC Infinity S8 Cloudline Duct Fan, and installed it inside one of the Model B Charcoal Edition HVAC filter frames, made by The 3DHandyman and available on Etsy. These are basically high end Corsi-Rosenthal HVAC filter frames, and I put four MERV13 20x30x1" Filtrete filters into this frame. I also taped down a 12x12x1" MERV13 filter on the top of this Model B, because this Charcoal canister does release a small amount of fine charcoal dust into the air. You can see the faint dark circle on the underside of this output filter, which is proof that this canister does release a small amount of charcoal dust. The charcoal dust may not be that important if you are using this in a grow house, but it is important to filter it out if you are using it inside a house and trying to completely remove particulate matter and smells in your indoor air. Reading all the reviews slamming this Carbon filter for getting clogged up with regular house dust and pet hair is ... I don't know, bewildering? Like duh, people, you need a PRE-FILTER around this charcoal canister so it doesn't get clogged up with the larger stuff floating in the air in your house. AC Infinity does sell a nice Pre-Filter cloth sleeve that fits very tightly around this canister that would work very well with catching the house dust and hair before it enters the canister, and this sleeve is a lot less expensive than getting one of these Model B box filter frames. However, the whole canister/duct fan breath and filter much better with the pleated MERV13 HVAC filters that the Model B frame surrounds it with. Plus you can also now easily filter out the fine charcoal dust that this canister puts out.

Hallo hab alle günstigen akf ausprobiert. Sobald du Mitte endblüte bist filtern die, die Luft nicht richtig man hat immer Geruch auch wenn die nagelneu sind spätestens nach 1 Woche Hast du den Geruch vor dem Fenster. Hab mich lange rumgedrückt soviel Geld auszugeben. Endeffekt draufgezahlt mit den günstigen wobei 60€ 70 € finde ich nicht günstigen. Also ende vom Lied.hätte ich doch gleich den Akf gekauft. Top er ist das geld wert. Von Mitte bis endeblüte. Kein Geruch! Top Produckt. Sogesehen kaufst du 2 weil du noch mal den akf mit frischer Kohle nachladen kannst. Die mitgeschickt wird. Kann ik nur empfehlen
