Beautifully interactive book for little ones
Such a great book. My toddler absolutely loves it and enjoys reading along with me. It’s a wonderfully interactive book, my 2 year old loves doing all the animal noises. The book itself is great quality, a lovely addition to the bookshelf.

The artwork in this book is good, in the usual Eric Carle style
The artwork in this book is good, in the usual Eric Carle style. Some of the animals are quite exotic, so for some of them (flamingo and peacock) it is quite difficult to figure out what sort of noise they make. The flow to the book also seems a little off on occasion when you're reading out loud (boa constrictor and hippopotamus are too long to fit properly). Brown Bear, Brown Bear is a better book, but this does introduce some more exotic animals.

The classrooms alive with the sound of wildlife...
This storybook was the ideal inspiration to follow up from Brown Bear,Brown Bear, What Do You See? The children had already enjoyed and absorbed the Brown Bear theme and followed the order of characters and structure of the story accurately. It was brilliant to see how well they remembered the colours, features and vocabulary. This book also didn't fail to excite, spark and ignite the children's fascination with other wildlife, it allowed them to explore more aspects of the world through the use of their senses and allowed shy children to become more talkative when discussing who there favourite characters were and why.
