Reliable & Essential for Every Oil Change!
Tufoil for Engines is a must-have in our household! This is a regular purchase for my husband—he uses it after every oil change in all of our vehicles, including our 2009 Toyota Corolla, 2019 Ford Expedition, and 2020 Maserati. It helps keep the engines running smoothly, efficiently, and quietly, and we've noticed a difference in overall performance. With Tufoil, we feel confident that our vehicles are getting the extra protection they need for long-term durability. Definitely a trusted and worthwhile product!

Protecting my engines since 1981!
It's thick and sounds expensive. But it's been keeping all my internal combustion engines running well beyond their expiration dates for many, many years. A senior aviation maintenance instructor alerted me to Tufoil. Said that's how his airplane engines stayed together despite high temperature (mostly air cooled) and relative abuse. I mow side-slopes with splash-lubricated mowers with no ill effects! My air cooled VW engine lasted a quarter million miles with only occasional valve renewal. Tufoil is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the slipperiest substance on the planet. I've talked to the engineer who developed it and this is the real thing, PTFE for everyman. The only caveat I know is not to use it in motorcycles with combined engine/transmission lubrication. Mainly because of the clutches. Well, any transmission with synchronizers will suffer also - it changes the friction that drastically. I typically use 8 oz on first oil change (NOT FOR BREAK-IN!) and half that afterwards. I use a corresponding percentage with all small engines. Tufoil not only reduces friction/heat and increases mileage (marginal but measurable) but also reduces ring wear and extends bearing life. What's not to like? We hand our vehicles down to relatives, with confidence and pride, at least partly due to having used Tufoil PTFE in the engines during their time with us.

Quieted Valvetrain and smoothed idle
I only recently started experimenting with engine oil additives, for purposes of slowing a leak in my wife Acura and smoothing out the idle and valvetrain noise in my 93 Toyota pickup. My first treatment of Tufoil in both vehicles did both, I was amazed how quiet the motor became in the pickup and how much quieter and smoother the Acura's engine became. This almost instant result makes me confident that this is a product that works. I've added it to my other truck, a 07 Tundra, along with my riding mower and other gas powered equipment with no negative effects. I should not that prior to trying Tufoil I did a treatment of Seafoam in the gas/oil/intake, while it did produce a lot of smoke out the tailpipe, it didn't solve any of the above noted issues. For the first treatment, I followed the instructions of 8oz per 5qts of oil, my follow up treatments will be the prescribed 4oz per 5qts. You will definitely want to try Tufoil out if you have a noisy valve train or looking for a smoother running engine. I can't comment on any MPG increases yet, but that's not why I purchased it. PS: Aside from Tufoil, I would recommend using Valvoline High Mileage oil, it has a strong detergent base for cleaning your engine and will help rejuvenate seals to slow leaks. It is also semi synthetic oil for only a few dollars more the the regular oil.

WoW this stuf is the truth
WOW this is the best additive ever. before this i used lubgard and luiquy moly mos 2(which are fantastic additives btw. after much reviewing and studying this tufoil on bobistheoilguy.com i decided the teflon in this additive isnt like it was many years ago. the inventor got the teflon so small .5 - 0.5 microns(good oil filter filters down to 10-15 microns) its impossible to cause clogs. a bypass oil system cant even filter the teflon(they filter down to 1 micron). it also has a load of moly which is known as a engines best additive. i bought this and put it in my 240whp honda civic. and my 2005 escalade. in the civic i installed 8oz in engine and 4oz in tranny. my mouth dropped at how quiet the engine was and i felt quite a bit more power.syncro tranny was smooth as butter(gotta admit i was worried about the syncros) engine revved much easier and engine temps went down. in the escalade i added in front diff rear diff engine and ps unit. i can hardley tell the escalade is running. i now get 17 mpg in the city instead of 15.5. out of both applications i notice the older car liked tufoil more. probably by design the civic uses a powerful but old h22a engine from 1995 vs the escalade is a 2005 engine. none the less both vehicles loved it.

I've used it for years
I'm a believer in Tufoil. I've used it for years in my car engines, lawn mowers, power washers, and anything else with an oil pan. You can feel the engine run more smoothly when you add it. The first car I used it in 40 years ago, I had to back off the idle after I added Tufoil-- it reduced the friction in the engine that much. I find I get better mileage, obviously. There is a lot of discussion online about the value of Tufoil. Some folks claim that it makes no measurable difference in engine friction, while some of us can feel the difference. I'd suggest you try it and see if it works for you.

Bought a few of these on sale and they are high quality!
I honestly prefer the style that’s mounted on a board, but these were such a good deal. I picked him up as extras and they didn’t disappoint. Very high-quality.

I love this stuff - help keep engines running super-smooth. I had a Chevy Astro running on Tufoil all it's life, and it was still purring smoothly, with minimal oil loss at almost 350,000kms, when I sold it. Too bad the price is so high - each treatment costs almost the same as the oil and filter combined!
