However, you could probably bodge it by putting batteries in reverse. **Q: Is there any way to charge the batteries without removing them from the case? Say for instance, if the case was concealed.** A: In principle you could use the output cable but this us unwise since at normal charging rate the batteries in close proximity would overheat. **Q: Is it waterproof ?** A: The case has a tight fit cover with a slider switch but it would be a stretch to call it ´waterproof', splash proof more likely. The only nit I could pick is that it doesn’t have any screw holes to fix it to a surface but they were easy enough to add and the plastic is sturdy enough that I didn’t compromise the rigidity at all by drilling it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A neat and sturdy case for a power pack *by G***N on 19 May 2023* I use this to power my astronomical telescope, with rechargeable cells rather than disposables you don't get the full 12V, more like 10V, but that's enough for my purpose. A lot lighter than a lead acid battery, and a lot cheaper than a lithium power pack.
