pediped Jake Originals Sneaker (Infant/Toddler)

These shoes are perfect for active toddlers! I really wish I knew about this brand a year ago when my little one started walking. I would have saved a lot of money on moccasins!Based on the advice of our chiropractor, in addition to knowing the benefits of walking barefoot in the beginning years, I stuck to buying moccasins for my daughter when she first started walking. I figured moccasin were soft, thin and allowed her to be as close to barefoot outside as possible. The only issue was, as she got more active, the shoes would quickly fall apart or look downright filthy and too gross to wear. So I did some research and came across PediPeds! I loved the design and knew this was the perfect pair of shoes I had been looking for.It's been over 3 months since we've bought them and they're still holding up quite well! My daughter was 18 months at the time so we bought a Large hoping they'd be just a tad bit big so she could wear them for a few months. When we first got them they were a bit big as we had hoped but it didn't prevent my daughter from using them. She quickly got used to the idea of wearing socks with her shoes and was on her way within days. Now she's 23 months old and I can tell her feet are close to being too large for her shoes. They'll need to be replaced by her 2nd birthday if not before. The shoes, however, are in great shape and could easily be passed down to another fast growing walker! They are a bit dirty but the bottom soles, canvas and leather point are all in tact with absolutely no wear or tears! Talk about high quality shoes!While we will miss this pair, I definitely intend to stick to PediPeds for my daughter's next pair of shoes. They have proven that their shoes are high quality and are worth every dollar spent on them!

I love that these have minimal soles — enough to protect against heat and any small objects that could cut my baby, but they do not alter his gait from when he walks barefoot. Other shoes do.I went with the size hart and they fit true to size with a bit of wiggle room.They take a minute or two to put on, but on the other hand my baby can’t take them off. Easier with socks.They’re attractive and seem well made — no issues after a month of wearing almost daily for 1+ hours (he is usually barefoot).

So far, so good! Our 10mo isn't walking on his own yet, but he is certainly busy cruising around. They seem more durable than the Robeez, which were comfy but ended up the seams coming apart for one shoe where his big toe was (after only wearing them a handful of times) -- those are probably better for indoors/smooth surfaces (e.g. not playgrounds or concrete). These fit nicely and just feel like they'll last longer. He hasn't worn them with socks yet or for longer than a couple of hours, so I can't really speak to any blisters or comfort level when walking. Overall, really happy with the purchase!

My little boy loves these shoes. They seem to be comfortable as he doesn't cry and try to pull them off, as he did with cheaper hard soled shoes. Before he hated putting shoes on, but with these he barely seems to notice. They are good quality and we are getting good use out of them. Will buy from this brand again.

I love Pedipeds, they're the BEST. My new walker is so comfy in them and this color is adorable. So happy with this purchase

Bought these shoes for my 12month old grand daughter who was a very beginning walker. I liked the flexibility, and they were cute. However, they didn’t last even a month! The stitching on the front broke, opening up the toe making them a safety issue and the interior foot lining waded up making hard lumps. I would not buy these again at any price! Save your money.

These fit my son very well. Easy to put on and take off. I am loving Pediped and plan to purchase more in the future. Good quality shoe that seems to hold up well too.

I’m very inbetween goving these 3 and 4 stars. I love how flexible the shoes are, my 11.5 year old son has started walking with help. He wore them for the first time all day today, and like a previous review noted, the inside foot lining has already wrinkled and bunched up! Who wants to walk on a big lump!? They also dont seem very breathable - his foot was very hot and sweaty!
