I am a Birkenstock person, and a gardener. Worst pair of clogs I have ever had. Save your money.

Love them!!

I love Birki's as a nurse-midwife to wear to births and in the clinic all day. They are comfortable for the most part, easy to slip on and off, and I can throw them in the shower or utility sink for a quick wash when they are covered in birth fluids. This pair, however, had several places with streaks where there is a defect. Half the shoe is shiny, the other half dull. Over the Birki's logo on the left shoe, there is little pockets of ink or plastic settled on top sticking out. Do I still love Birki's? Yes! Do I wish these were better quality? Yes!

After all the reviews I have read, I finally decided to try it out. I have been wearing it for over a week and my feet is still sore. The balls of my heels throb when I wake up and the top of my foot hurts from rubbing it against the hard material. I even tried wearing thicker socks but still no help. I was hoping to have it broken it by now but it still feels the same. I am normally a size 5.5-6 so I went with the 6 since the reviews gave a general opinion that it ran on the small side. Bad idea, it's like I am wearing two boats on my feet. They are HUGE! Maybe I have narrower feet than most but I have to say this was a huge disappointment for me. On the positive side, I haven't slipped once on wet floors.

I work as a nurse and had a pair of these about 8 years ago, I am wondering why I ever tried any other shoes. They are great for messy days and running around the unit. I will never try any other shoes again!

I ordered size 6 in women/5 in men but they were too big. It looked like a size 8. I returned them.
