Not as 'premium' looking as my last one. But it works well.
I've had one of these Remington Vacuum Trimmers for years. My last one survived for many years, but eventually needed replacing. This latest model works just as well. It's such a shame that Remington have gone for the silly lime green colour on the vacuum section. It makes the trimmer seem rather juvenile when compared to the last model, and the rest of their product lines. If you are concerned that the vacuum feature is a gimmick, it is not. If you use this trimmer regularly, you can trim your beard, and even use the trimmer as hair clippers, as the vacuum is strong enough to retail hair trimming while inverted. You just need to remember to empty the vacuum chamber regularly. If you try and do a more significant cut/trim in one go, you will overload the vacuum chamber, to the point where clippings will fall out when you invert the trimmer. But stick to that one simple rule, and you can keep your hair and beard trimmed without a clipping in sight. The only thing I do not like, is where the vacuum exhaust is. It's right where you would naturally want to hold the trimmer while using it as hair clippers. But my previous Remington was the same, so I am used to passing it from hand-to-hand, to avoid covering the exhaust port. There is something quite satisfying about leaving the bathroom, with a trimmed beard and hair, without needing to brush hair from either yourself or the bathroom floor. Recommended.

Good trimmer - noticed the improvement upon upgrading
Had a previous Remington vacuum shave which i replaced because the battery didnt last more than 2-3 minutes by the end. I hadn't realised how blunt the blades were as this cuts through butter by comparison. The positives are the battery, sharp blades, vacuum feature and the handy case.Negatives are that it doesnt pick up as many trimmings as before (but still 90%) and that the head is bulkier, so harder to trim between mouth and nose.Overall I'm pleased and wished I'd upgraded sooner. Price was great (hence why Amazon pays a tiny amount of UK tax).

Hair thinning combs are cheaper, work better on longer hair. Probably better for pre-shower routine
Don't expect it to work on long hair beards. Also, it only catches MOST hair. Back to the cheap hair thinning comb then use this every few days/once a week...so exactly what I did pre-beard. Defeating the point of having a beard in the first place. At least battery technology is better, now

Quality Trimmer. Hoover takes in 100% hair. Battery great.
After years of using and replacing the same Philips original vacuum beard trimmer I was absolutely gutted to find that not only have Philips discontinued their vacuum trimmers but virtually nobody else makes them anymore either! You cannot get one from Argos or a large Boots. This Remmington was literally the only decent quality-looking one on Amazon out of hardly any others. After the revelation of not having to clean up beard mess from the sink or floor I cannot fathom how or why other manufacturers have dropped all vacuum models!

Good enough beard trimmer with an effective vacuum
Due to mixed reviews, I was reticent about buying this, but did so because the excellent Phillips vacuum beard trimmer which has given me years of effective service is no longer available; I'm glad I did. The strength of the vacuum seems better than the Philips was, and the blades cut neatly. On the other hand, it is a more complex and less intuitive design than the Philips, making it less convenient to use; the setting for beard length is fiddly and the comb part flexes making it harder to obtain an even cut. Overall, given that the Philips is no longer available, this is a good enough product for those of us wanting a vacuum beard trimmer.

Nice gimmick, terrible trimmer.
I've had a number of basic Remington trimmers over the years. After around 10 years my old one worked fine when plugged in but wasn't holding battery charge, but so decided to replace it. The idea of a built in vacuum to catch trimmed hair seemed like a good idea. I keep a short stubble which I trim every 7-10 days. When I used this one I found the edge of the hair catching compartment stopped me getting close enough to trim to the length I normally use. I either had to leave it longer than required (and very patchy) or end up with a clean shave. The vacuum function worked well, I think the claim is it catches 95% of trimmings. That's probably correct but even the little hair I removed filled the compartment and I had to stop and empty it twice. What it didn't catch I still had to clear up using a real vacuum cleaner so overall it cost me more time than it saved. Coupled with the poor result I gave up and this item has been consigned to a drawer. Instead I bought another basic Remington trimmer,https://www.amazon.co.uk/Remington-Trimmer-Ceramic-Adjustable-Variable/dp/B000OS72Y0/ref=sr_1_5?crid=1XW4CK4XJ2IQL&keywords=Remington+Barba+Beard+Trimmer%2C+MB320C&qid=1644997960&sprefix=remington+barba+beard+trimmer+mb320c%2Caps%2C65&sr=8-5which does a far better job.
