An absolutely amazing product
An absolutely amazing product. For years, I’ve been practicing guided imagery and meditation, but I’ve never felt so deeply connected to myself as I have through using this incredible product. I highly recommend it to anyone who values their health

Breathe in, breathe out
I don't normally write product reviews, nor do I normally buy things like this, but both kind of happened on a whim.... So here we are!Anyway, I think this is a pretty awesome tool. To explain why, I present to you a story:Before the pandemic I had a decent habit of going to yoga classes once or twice a week. One thing I really appreciated about the classes was having a guide (the instructor) that could help me with my practice. The instructor both helped make sure I was doing moves correctly and was able to give me feedback in order to help me improve. The reflect orb acts like a guide for meditation in a similar manner. If desired, you can watch the rings in real time to get a sense of how alert or calm you are in the moment and/or if you set up and sync with the app, which I recommend doing, you can wait until your session ends and you can look back on the session data to see how it went. This feedback helps me to see how effective the current meditation approach is for me. I've figured out that some breathing techniques work better for me and certainly some environments work better for me. While it can be adorable to have my cat begging for attention during my attempted meditation, it typically doesn't lead to the best session. So, I try to meditate with some space between us when I can. 😃So far I haven't been too surprised by what I've seen based on how I'm feeling, but I really like being able to keep track of all of that data and seeing how it has changed and will change over time. The app also has a lot of other nice features to help encourage consistent practices and mindfulness beyond just the immediate session. It's a silly easy thing, but I really like the notifications I set through the app to remind myself to meditate. I have a bit of a problem with goofing off way too late into the night, so I set nightly reminders encouraging myself to meditate. I don't always listen to these notifications, but when I do I certainly sleep better. The app also encourages journaling how your session went, which I've been enjoying way more than I thought I would. I've never been too big into journaling, but here I am continuing to write after a session. Maybe I'm learning new things about myself?Okay, enough rambling. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking to get into meditation or anyone who already likes it, but would like a guide of sorts to help them explore it further.Hope this helps!

Incredibly frustrating
I'm not sure what my stress levels were before, but I'm pretty sure they're very high now. I was really hoping this would help with my son's anxiety but it was nothing but an extremely frustrating experience. The Bluetooth connectivity is abysmal, and the light just spins and spins. I managed to get it connected a couple times but every time I navigated to a different tab in the app, it would require me to connect again. Then, when trying to use it, the device would work for a minute, but if you let go for a second, the light would just spin blue. The power button does literally nothing, and when you plug it in to charge, the light blinks very bright white, which is annoying on a nightstand. And, I'm a software engineer, so it's not like I'm not savvy with technology. I love the idea of a biofeedback device, but this one is so poorly designed, I wouldn't pay $20 for it, let alone $200.

Awesome!
I'm a grad student and was drowning in stress before finals. I started using the Reflect Orb between study sessions and it helped greatly. It gave me a reason to stop, breathe, and actually calm down instead of scrolling on my phone pretending to relax. The lights responding to my stress level felt comforting, like a visual check-in with my body. It made me more aware of how tense I was and helped me release it. The app is helpful, but even without it, just the Orb helps me reset. It’s now part of my daily routine.

Syncing issues are very frustrating!!!
I purchased this device almost a year ago. I’ve had to replace it once about 6 months under the manufacturer’s warranty because it stopped working and wouldn’t sync. The new one I received is having issues now. It times out in the middle of a session and takes forever to sync. I have to make sure the device is plugged in to charge and reload the app like 5x before it will sync my data. It makes me feel stressed and that’s the opposite of what it’s supposed to do. I had high hopes for this and I like it when I can get it to work but it’s too glitchy!!!

It’s great
The orb is a great a personal wellness tool that has significantly improved my ability to manage anxiety. As someone who sometimes have racing thoughts and overwhelming emotions, I've found it to be a reliable companion. The device's beautiful design make it easy to use, even for tech novices like myself. It works by biofeedback, by tracking signals from my fingers as I hold it, it provides real-time insights into my stress levels by showing changing colors. This awareness of how to make the colors change has been incredibly empowering.I also really like the guided exercises in the app. I like the woman's voice and the soothing music that help me relax and focus. While the orb isn't a miracle cure it has definitely enhanced my well-being. It's a tool that I can rely on to practice with and have available when I’m feeling especially anxious. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a practical and effective way to improve their mental health.

So much potential, so much invasion of privacy
Doesn't quite work right, in the way. I would like it to. And the amount of data you have to give the app before you can get it to work is ridiculous. I understand they make money on the back end selling the information, but maybe you could make a device to help people relax and meditate and not sell their data? Data? Is that too much to ask? It seems like those ethics would align. This is a really good idea, poorly executed. Assemble device that would return some of your biological data in the form of lights, your O2 level, your heart rate, and would prompt you to meditate would be amazing. I doubt anyone will make it so simple.
